Watch a couple of mine exploring channels. Thinks it’s great as it is near home. Always heard about coal mines. Not very many gold and silver mines. Coal mines were too dangerous to explore. This is cool.
Hello this mine area seems to keep going and going glad you made this explore for us all to tag along .I have a ? Have you ever heard of a very RICH Gold mine in Washington state that the Gold was used for the civil war effort and that there were soldiers killed as well to protect the mine I heard that the mine now has 7 owners and there is also a vast area very rich beside s Gold I heard the story 10 years ago this is a very true story that was told to me by 1 of the owners maybe some day you will hear more and do a big explore of this mine and the history is 100 percent true and the bones of the soldiers are still there to this day ⛏️🙏🇺🇸🤫
Amazing exploration. Those tight spaces you have to slip through are difficult for me to watch. I’m glad you guys always play it safe. Thanks for sharing. This is really interesting to me
You boys, really go to the tenth degree, to show us the best stuff. Cool and dangerous, at the same time. You really have to respect, what those old miners went through.🤠🤠
Somewhere around 1,250,000.00 in gold up to 1944. A lot of test samplings using smaller size excavations (Short Prospect Tunnels), looking for mineralized surface zones, a fair amount of trial and error.
It would be really cool if there was a way to safely explore some of the open cut areas. Perhaps it would be worth it to come back with an aluminum ladder and some rappeling gear. I wouldn't have crossed those boards either.
Wow that is a pretty impressive mine. For looking down open stores from outside like that use a mirror like a big truck side mirror and sunlight it will work better than flashlight.
What is funny is that they didn't have metal detectors. If you ran a detector along the walls they probably missed a bunch of nuggets 😅 all the hard work is done already as of digging
First off we do not metal detect never have, we are not miners. Second not how gold works in Washington at least this mine. Nuggets don't just live in the walls the gold is fairly locked up in the host rock and requires a fair amount of processing to get a small quantity out we are talking a quarter or so ounces of gold per TON of material. Appreciate the comments though Thanks.

We have not heard that story. Sounds very interesting. Appreciate you sharing it.

Thank you for that. We appreciate you watching and your feedback.
Awesome thank you
Appreciate that. Thank you!
Wow! Thank You!!
Thank you!
This is a cool mine. Looks about the same as it did many years ago. Some interesting stuff to see in this one.
Yes, indeed. Just needed ropes, etc.
Way cool! I’m glad you guys decided not to go over that rickety wood bridge! Definitely better safe than sorry!
Thank you, appreciate your comments.

How much gold was found in these levels or entire mine , how did they know that gold was here ?

does the guy you are with have a channel also ? I would like to see his point of view also !
No, he is with us and does our shorts on TikTok.
@@ghosttownsandminesofwashington yes I know that forest is with you . I just thought maybe there was more post of video from his point of view .

Yes, repelling would be the way to go.

Thanks for ths suggestion and commenting!
You should bring whips so that you can swing across the open areas. It's easy -- i saw Indiana Jones do it.
Exactly!!! We gave some subtle hints of that theme in the thumbnail.

it looks like the earth just said "I have had enough of you digging and just gave way on that whole side
It does, however, that whole open cut/pit was all dug by miners.
Now with the technology advancement with metal detectors, someone can go back and check for unfound gold or other minerals
It's possible, but a lot of mines around here the metals are fused into the host rock requiring extensive milling process.
A good running start and could have made it across that last part without to many boards falling out from under foot. Just kidding!
🤣
*How disappointing and discouraging that even in there, there is a graffiti*
👍

We will have to look into it. We are not familiar with any sites that have this history associated.
