Man, Gary deserves a standing ovation for his heroic sacrifice; & I can actually understand why your dad doesn't want to go into detail about what he experienced as you can learn from just about any war movie that it's hard enough living through it when it's happening around you, so you don't want to relive the horror by telling stories. My dad was in the army & I've never asked him to tell his stories; I figure if he wants me to know about everything he experienced, he'll tell me on his own.
i never knew about the different gasses that was in tanks for deep diving. i knew about how the pressure affects you but just thought it was all regular air. but dang inhaling water thinking it's air sounds terrifying to me. i can feel my lungs burning just thinking about it. and the one who saved all those people was a hero. he did all that knowing they was gonna close the hatch.
So many people seem to think that safety rules don't apply to them. There have been so many stories of cavers or divers - or cave-divers - going past "Do not go past this point" signs, or ignoring multiple local experts' advice on safe procedure. He could have approached any of the experts earlier on his holiday and then he'd have had time to do the training. [] I've done dinghy sailing, and we had to do a deliberate capsize. Being suddenly immersed in cold water causes an instinctive gasp reaction, which feeds on itself and leads to hyperventilation which can kill you before hypothermia does. We'd been forewarned of this, and I found myself going into gasp reflex but was able to consciously suppress it, though it took some doing.
Yay you're laughing and smiling and having fun that's so good to see! The true crime stuff can just really carry you down. Learning what's really out there in this f***** up world can really mess with your head! So I'm glad to see you smiling hun! Good looking out for yourself hun!
Hey Charlie...I been waiting for a new review from you..one you have to check out that's fing hilarious is the Mrballin worst naval disaster. Have a good evening from Cbus, Ohio!
I reckon some people are just too stubborn for their own good! 🤦♀️ Rules are rules and by the sounds of these stories if you break them then you best get prepared to get broke! 😬 Damn!
10:55 Geez, this picture remind me of video that once i watch back around 2012 or 2013 on youtube. lost and found footage about diver that keep descending.. now i know the full story.
If you really want to go cave diving/exploring you really need to prep very well my advice is to get a reel of steel cable about 100'-500' (.5mm thick) & if when you go off the original tunnel or cave you will be able to let out the cable behind you & reel it up on your way back
But then the last one would probably have had to lag so far behind to keep behind him that they'd have lost contact with the first bloke. After the second time, I'd have taken him back up to the surface and taken his tanks away and locked them up so he couldn't endanger himself or me.
I'm not fully claustrophobic, but I'm certainly not fond of enclosed spaces, let along tight spaces, let alone tight spaces underwater. Catch me doing anything like that!
15:16 LMFAO 😂😂 ahahahaha I’m trying to think of something clever to say about yeah, I can definitely tell your girl is a teacher lmao like you have grammar ptsd but I can’t word it right so just accept this explanation instead
So, I wonder if 'Nitrogen narcosis' would be like when we go to the dentist and have the nitrous oxide sedation ("laughing gas")? He said that it happens from breathing too much Nitrogen, and it makes the person feel as if they were drunk, which the "laughing gas" you get at the dentist does, too.
Your Pops may not be ready to tell you the deep stories for various reasons. He may think you'll look at him different or he may relive the moments while talking about them.
Well CampCrystalCharlie if you do that knowingly he will be lost in there and not do anything about it by leaving him behind you could get charge for intended murder because you let him die.
I’m sorry but the first story he basically sealed his fate because he wanted to be stubborn and do what he wanted just to explore when you have no experience of deep diving if rules are explained to you and you choose not listen you must be ok with the consequences

These are some of my favorite stories from Mr. Ballen.

It may sound familiar only because for a time, Mr Ballen had quite a few diving themed stories
ooooooh ok
Love the channel, just waiting on it to blow up
Ayyyyyee appreciate that, Unc 😂😂😂😂

No not steel. Too heavy. Carbon fiber is the norm.
love mr ballen vids
Best reactions ever love the mrballem ones
Hey Charlie! Hope you have a good day 😊 thanks for uploading feeling a lil bummed
sorry =(
Mr.Ballen should title these “ When a hard head make a soft ass “
In the second story they should have made Peter go in the middle after he kept on going off but oh well
But then the last one would probably have had to lag so far behind to keep behind him that they'd have lost contact with the first bloke.

I love how he break it down in plug talk xD
😂😂😂😂😂
I have Thalassophobia so bad to the point where if I'm in a pool alone I can freak myself out I don't understand people that do these dives
I'm not fully claustrophobic, but I'm certainly not fond of enclosed spaces, let along tight spaces, let alone tight spaces underwater. Catch me doing anything like that!
You know what's more scary than diving? Using the same equipment as other drivers have, I don't want to imagine the spit 🤢🤢
When you're dying for air nothing else matter as you need to stay alive.
I don't feel bad for Yuri, he should've listened.

bahahahahahahahaaaaa
Bro explained the first one in weed terminology 😭

lol one hopes that a qualified dentist would administer only the correct amount!
Got to react to mr ballen new video it’s crazy

Bro in the second story if they searched a little more they would of found him
But he said there were hundreds of tunnels; who knew which one to look in?
