@@xWE4PONS negative still work at my local FD though. I actually used to work at a ems agency that had swat medic who were sworn officers so you would make entry carry etc. Left that agency to work at a different local FD for better pay.
My one and only hang up is the having to kill part. Is that common in Pararescue? I've heard it's not but I am interested to ask more. I need help with this dilemma. I understand in the situation of having to defend yourself but still. I need more clarification on this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
"I understand in the situation of having to defend yourself but still"?!..If you find having to kill someone in order to save your own life or the life of another, a dilemma. Sorry sir, you're looking at the wrong videos, and I have no advice for you. Good day.
@@sx700g3p You are simplifying the dilemma. In the situation where someone breaks into your home and is trying to cause harm.on you or your loved ones, than obviously its self defense. But to be dropped into a battle situation, where there are bullets flying and you don't know exactly who you are shooting at or whats the reason that the people shooting at you are shooting at you. For example, what if the person you are saving was in the wrong and the ones shooting at them were just defending themselves?
@@maverickmo8976 If you consider that a dilemma then you are really looking at the wrong career, if you ever second guess yourself on the battlefield then you are gonna get you and your buddies killed
That others may live. Obviously it's in the name to want to help people that's the whole job. Unfortunately sometimes you go to help good people and bad people show up. Sometimes you go to help good people and bad shit goes down mistakes are made innocent people hurt. That's tough you just want to help but that's the job. If you don't want to hurt people become a flight medic. Your best bet is to get your nursing degree BSN learn about flying in helicopters challenge the medic test as a nurse then get hired with a heli company.
