That is the neatest silage clamp I've ever seen!!! I love watching the mowing, tedding, chopping and building the clamp. I can almost smell the wonderful aroma of the cut grass. It was lovely to hear your memories of growing up on the farm and the silage trials. A wonderful video!
Best part of the whole video had to be you taking that gate off to allow more space. Amount of farmers that think you can shift a 250hp tractor and 14ton trailer where they get their little yard tractor is too many. Just that little extra space is damn well handy and very much appreciated
Thank you, you brought back memories of the family farm in Iowa from 60 years ago. I hope you are showing your Dad this video. He'll love your memories and can add a lot more, which are so precious.
Hey Adrian did you have to go and have therapy after the contractors turned up with John Deere’s 😂 What happened to Adrian’s philosophy “If the tractor isn’t red it’s not coming on to my farm”
So great to hear the stories Adrian, I'm from Canada and did a lot of dairy farming when I was young. You made me stop and remember the simpler times. Thank you.
@IFarmWeFarm I have been a subscriber for a long time and enjoy watching all that you do, and your attitude is so great. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with the old cottage.
Glad Adrian your father is getting better. It's a worrying time when they are sick and in hospital. But they are given great care and is the best place to be when you are not well.
Delighted you got ur silage in safe and well..My memories of the silage at home and my dear old mum calling the grandkids in all the time, it was a concent worry in case of tractors and kids being around then , and rightly so.. Dad had passed away so it was hard on her. Please God Adrian ur Dad will be home soon...I'm playing for him. God Bless 🙏🏽🙏🏽
My wife is a Scottish farm girl from Peterhead and smiles a lot during your show, today (for the first time) she burst into laughter when you mentioned temp and sunshine ..We now reside in QLD Australian. It's 2 weeks until the winter solstice and at 25 C she is rugged up?? 🤔🤗
I grew up in a town but used to love heading to my grandparents in the countryside and seeing the silage and hey being brought in. Being young and eager I was easily convinced to open & close gates, get spins in tractors, stacking bales and firing tires up onto the pit. Country life is the best life
A good testament to Cavan football, a bunch of lads kicking a ball and not one able to hit the target😂. Great video Adrian as always, hope the aul lad is feeling better. 👍🏻
ah, memories. this was one of my favorite of all your videos. Your dad can be there for your silage through this video. Your youngest girl looks like you! I'm honestly tearful sharing your memories, it's enchanting.

Thanks for sharing your memory's, sitting here smiling like a kid. It brought back many memory's for me, growing up helping out at lambing time, then off too school. Coming home playing in the stream catching minnows.
