Turning 65 in a month. Fished all my life. Every one of your trips makes me feel young again. maybe someday I can get on one of your trips. If not, I want to thank you for making me hungry for these ocean beauties every week. I'm only a couple hours from Mendocino and everything below or above. Tomales bay sometime maybe? We're slappin' em up lately! lol . thanks again.
I get it !!! 63 and riging up tonight for Wednesday out of Prinston harbor. Almost 20 yrs yaking here and that youngsters learning my tricks and taking my ling. He’s always an inspiration!!! Fish on!
Great day of fishing! What a catch at the end I can only imagine how tired and sore you must have been. Once again Adam thanks for sharing. Your friend Richard Carabio Menifee, California 🙏
im a complete novice just getting started down south of you. tryna understand all the regulations with rockfish/ling/etc. how do you manage the 50 fathom line and the 2 hook restriction when on the kayak? like using one setup for bait at the start of the day, is it legal to have that 2+ hook setup on a rod im not using if i got a 1/2 hook setup on the rod im targeting ling or cab with? thanks for all your videos, brother! i feel like i get to learn some lessons the easy way before hitting the surf/sea haha. keep it up
Nice work! Well you inadvertently answered a big question for me on sardines! I’m in SD and bought a half scoop of sardines, later while in the ocean, I caught three, what I thought were sardines? Put them in my bait tank and within an hour they were dead, but my purchased sardines were fine. Only difference was the ones I caught were a little darker, I thought they were sardines, but I bet they were herring… which I don’t know if I’ve ever seen down here?
I got one of those bait tanks a few months back, and it works great down here in Orange County. Keeps sardines, mackerel and smelt all alive, and there's a lot less drag when trolling on my kayak than some of the net-type bait wells. And multiple people have asked, "what is that thing you're dragging?" When I tell them, they want to take pictures of it so they can get one.
You keep saying you are putting these huge fish on ice. Where do you fit a cooler on that kayak? Is there space behind you or is it floating in the water like the live bait thing?

I was just telling my wife that I kinda miss the early fishing video style of rock music over footage of action, then bam! That intro
Glad you enjoyed it!
Rock on 🎣
Adam, can you start showing what's in the belly's of these larger fish you catch? Thanks for the content
I just did a reveal on Tiktok!
Reminds me of HALF MOON BAY But I don’t know! The whole California coast is the same when you’re out on a cloudy foggy day. Great fishing trip!! 🎣
I was thinking the same thing lol I feel like I recognize it but it’s hard to tell lol
Adam, what are the rules concerning catching a closed season fish that is mortally wounded from the hook?
Nyimak keseruan mancing nya......nice bro

Awesome video man, that ling cod was crazy big!
Nice edit Adam! I liked this style of video
7:35 it was a sea lion, they dont eat the head to avoid the hook
They’re that smart?
I was thinking the same thing but I didn't see a single one the entire day. Its a mystery!
That second ling hookset was great. Cross their eyes!

Thanks for a great video!
Nice brace of lings! 👍
Superb content and top-notch production values. Sensational channel.
Much appreciated!
Nice lings. Water looks flat. Was out there yesterday and it was almost blown out.
What kind of set up do you use for bottom fishing.
I live by you I fish there almost every weekend
Great fishing Adam nice
Thanks 👍
What habour do you launch out of?
What kind of real are you always fishing with looks sweet ?
Another great fish
Thanks 👍
Sand dabs are the absolute best live bait for Lings. All my biggest lings were caught using them.
Nice lingcod.
Good fight 👍💪
Is your leader line tied to a 3way or fish finder?
Fish finder
I would like to know what rod and reel you have
What ever bit your bait at 7:35 was a clean cut. To bad you are not able to keep the big Ling.
Is south city still a thing like is oyster point still good waters ?
Oyster point is a great spot for cali hali 👍🏽
@@hookemjackson thanks man I been trying to find a good place to hook em up from the pier
Heard that you could kill fish moving it backwards through the water trying to revive it.
Maybe some fish but these were just fine!
@@DieHardFishing it was just a general question, didn't want it to seem as a accusation. My bad.
The Ling King
Looks like a seal stole your bait, they don’t eat the head, to smart!

Totally agree!
Did you not get a commercial license again. I would have had a hard time returning that big Ling.
How do I go on this trip with you
I don't wanna confirm it was a shark that ate over half your bait but I been catching a lot of 4 to 5ft lepoard shark an occasional 7gill
Monster ling.
You keep saying you are putting these huge fish on ice. Where do you fit a cooler on that kayak? Is there space behind you or is it floating in the water like the live bait thing?
There is a space behind me where I keep a kill bag with ice in it.
Hope you marked that spot 😁
I did!
that would have been hilarious if you forgot to remove the cover on the gaff. ;)
🤔Why did you have to let that last ling go?
Heck are you fishing that water is that calm? It’s been rodeo all year so far. Lol
HMB ? No way. Lol
Can you start sharing where you be fishing at
Shouldn’t you have an elevated light during the fog?
Epic battle on that sea monster at the end. Had me on the edge of my seat until you let us see what it was. Excellent as always😊

Bye, unsubscribe, you as a fisherman are trying to sell us knives? smh... I could see fishing gear but not hear for your infomerricial.
Can you show us your setup?
