Don't knock it til you try it. I find there's a pretty substantial difference between using the Questyle CMA400i (AKM 4490) as a DAC and the TEAC UDH01 (burrbrown) on the same amp. I prefer the cheaper burrbrown while I bought the questyle as an upgrade.
I own the neo idsd since this week, mainly because it allowed me to trade-in my Questyle CMA400i and I could listen with a lot of amps at this dealer. Warmer/analog sounding DACs in this price range are kind of rare these days. There's basically the D70s, the bifrost2 and this. For headphones the neo amp is pretty good, but a seperate amp is just better. Pairing this with the Violectric V200 at the dealer was kinda mind blowing (my headphones Audeze LCD2fazor). The violectric even blows the newest Burson soloist out of the water for this setup, I did a/b with that too. The burson was very treble happy and not as dynamic. I previously had a TEAC full balanced UD-H01 DAC ($300 range). Both the TEAC and this are burr-brown based DACs, but the neo idsd has a cleaner sound, no high-mid congestion, a bit more bass, more stereo precision, better high extension and allows more depth presentation even with stuff panned hard left/right. Overall, it sounds more lifelike even on speakers. I didn't A/B it with the popular China designed cheaper DACs, but I like the neo a whole lot. To me it certainly beats the CMA400i ($900 AKM4490) in the big dynamic swells, 'lifelike' sound and signature (just my taste).
For me its no doubt - the IFI is better in sound!! The Loxjie is colder and darker in sound! Please listen exactly!

SACD over HDMI does not work with my Marantz player, I’m using Amumo lights at the corner for bass traps, thanks

Voice sounds compressed on the iFi, bass sloppy and muddy. The D50 sounds good, and wins this comparison outright.

Zeos tested it, was ok. Still i agree with Zeos, get a 200 USD DAC and 500 USD HP amp, superior to any of these.
Loxjie D50 is comparable to up $1.5k DACs in sound quality.
I wouldnt trust zreviews.. he recommends almost everything he reviews

Loxjie has better bass... but the difference is subtle, DACs are highly overrated.

The D-50 doesn’t have a living edge which makes it sound like there’s more mid range
