- Norfolk Southern Fast Trains On Tight Curve At Railroad Crossing With CSX & Norfolk Southern Tracks. Look How Many John Deere Tractors Are On The First Train! While Filming One Train Look What Happens On The Other Side Of Me! Radar Check & Fast Trains With DPU Locomotives Working Hard! These 4 Trains Are In Walton, Kentucky. Includes the Live Action Pets and slide show.
I was going to go to Illinois to film the Canadian Pacific steam train but I was in too much pain and decided to stay home. However, I wanted to film some trains so I headed to the railroad in Kentucky. I got here a little late but I had also filmed a few other trains first and I will post them soon. I was here for only 40 minutes when the first Norfolk Southern train with the John Deere tractors showed up. I believe this is Train 123. This was a good train and had double DPU locomotives in the middle working hard. Just before the end of the train showed up I heard horns at the other crossing. A CSX train was heading to Cincinnati so I had trains passing by on both sides of me. That was pretty cool. Have you ever had that happen before?
Next we see another southbound manifest speeding by. This train has a DPU on the rear. Listen to how loud it was. That was awesome.
The last train is another Norfolk Southern manifest with a DPU on the rear. This is a northbound train headed to Gest Street Yard in Cincinnati. I finally got my radar gizmo out and checked the speed. How fast do you think the trains travel here? You will find out.
This video also features the Live Action Pets including a baby chicken that the kids got from the feed store. The slide show is longer than usual but has the awesome action in it that you just saw. Some of these trains were booking!
Filmed Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in 1080p with 60fps. Thanks for watching!

Good morning!
New trains from NS and csx together in this vídeo...so good!!!!!
I can't forget the John Deere tractors on board of the train...
😱😨🚂🇱🇷📱💞💕♥️♥️♥️♥️
Morning, John Deere is a classic. Good video, Brian.
Morning!
John Deere sets the standard for agricultural tractors. It succeeds Farmall, produced by International Harvester from 1923 to 1973.
Cool, thanks for the info!
They had to work like hell for it too, many years they were the underdogs, maybe 90 yrs or so
@@JawTooth I love the videos you made the best video of the whole videos is the la grange
Sorry but John Deere is a disgrace! They sell you a tractor, then do everything they can to keep owners from repairing them. And Deere actively fights right to repair laws! I paid for it, I own it, stop with the BS! Getting worse than Apple and others. The computer does not need to know the serial number of the sensor!
She's in love with my Big Green Tractor
Thanks for watching!
Not a problem
Good Thursday morning Brian, trains and a cup of coffee. Don’t get no better than this.
Tractors on a train is great.Looks like a "Baker's Dozen".
Good morning Steve! You sure were quick!
I do believe that second NS engineer saluted you. Busy day trackside.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks, Jaw Tooth, for another great video. Have a great Day, my Friend.
Love that horn sound!! Throw in a thunder storm and I’m lala land!🤣
thanks for watching!
Pack of deer riding on the iron horse swwwwwweeeeettttt!!!!much love sir jt!!!!😊❤
Rock on!
Great catch on monster NS manifest with John Deer tractor 🚜 s,double distributed power and meet with CSX Alright!🛤🚂
Good morning Brian & fellow railfans...
Good morning Jon!
John Deere tractors, then a manifest train meet! Can’t get better than that son! There was more! There always is!
Nice video JT thanks keep up the good work and have a great day greetings from Scotland 😊
Thanks, you too!
@@JawTooth Your welcome JT 😊
Thank you for bringing the radar gun with you today
Like that little horn salute in the middle of the Morse code”Q” from the second NS train! Never heard that before. Loki likes his new toy! Looks like
Deshler is getting a new Diamond
A paid off truck can be what ever it wants JT! Tks for sharing!
Back in the 60s and early 70s, I lived close to the Erie Lackawanna Dayton sub in Broadway, Ohio. It was fun to see the flat cars of agricultural and construction equipment go by. It was a special treat to see the new cars and trucks on the still open sided auto racks.
It was great because the New York Central in Marysville ran a lot of slow-moving coal drags.
It was great for counting cars but boring otherwise.
Now I live in South Carolina near the Norfolk Southern main through Spartanburg.
It's mostly unit trains of autoracks and intermodal stack trains with a bit of grain her and there. It's boring but at least its trains.
Thanks for sharing with us!
Cheers
Terry
I prefer the mixed freights also. I like seeing the boxcars. Thanks for watching!
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle vidéo ! ✨✨✨✨✨👍
Great shot catching the tail end of the first train and locomotives of the second.
Yes, that was cool to catch the end of one train while filming the other. Great awareness. If I was that guy pulling up to the crossing, I would likely not seen you because I would be watching the train. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Omg Brian I love these crossings seeing the two trains right in a row also seeing the Guilford/Maine Central boxcar was awesome I live in Maine….. seeing pics of Mark warmed my heart he will be missed
Glad you enjoyed it!
More awesome train action from Kentucky and Ohio with Jaw Tooth
seeing all of the new John Deere tractors was great especially here in Oklahoma, great CSX and NS trains, the awesome live action pets Chessie, Loki, Brandi and Norfy are always awesome and I really
liked seeing the picture of Shoestring(R.I.P.), Thank You Jaw Tooth.
🇺🇲🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲
Thank you very much!
Hey jaw tooth great timing with first 2 trains One ended as other showed up. Great horn salute. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
that is awesome! great video as always
Thanks!
Awesome video with 2 dpu working hard and a horn salute but wait there’s more 👍😎🚂🇺🇸👍
You got that right!
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains and the tractors connecting the railcars in Walton, Kentucky, I like them, they're awesome, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much.
Thank you very much!
@@JawTooth You're very welcome, Brian.
Awesome. I bet you weren’t expecting the CSX train while filming the Norfolk Southern train with the John Deere tractors
When I worked as a RR Cop for Illinois Central Gulf in E. St. Louis, I saw a Delta Airlines Douglas DC 9 that had crashed in Chattanoga, Tn. arrive on about 6 flat cars, disassembled, of course. It was going to the company for an intensive dissection and inspection! Never was a dull moment there! Some fatal for RR Police!
Love all that action! Bet those tractors started their journey on the Iowa Northern near me👍
Thanks for watching! I sure wish I could get to Davenport this weekend
@JawTooth Headed to Sabula right now. Trying to catch the 2816 over the Mississippi👍
Great Train. Hope your feeling better.
thanks!
@@JawTooth imagine if you were heding home and see this
Great video!! You are the master of catching 2 trains simultaneously..😁
@magicpencil6995, indeed he is.
@magicpencil6995 One day, im planning of doing trainspotting with JT, and that will be amazing.
Wow, thanks!
I was blessed yesterday for sure
cool
Thanks for watching!
counted 21 tractors on those flatbeds
Thanks for watching!
When that long string of farm-tractors traveled by, did you, for an instant, think: "They'll not miss only one...and tehe things I could do with it !"
Yes, that would look good on my farm. The only problem is that I wouldn't have much time to use it since I film trains all the time lol. In a related issue my farm is about to grow a little. I was going to add a one acre parcel but it turns out that I am adding another 8 acres. Pretty exciting actually. It is difficult to get farm land anymore.
@@JawTooth You are to be applauded for your good fortune in this regard !
I would like to say thank you for the birthday wish.
You are welcome!
Amazing videos Jaw Tooth keep up the good work
Good morning
I find your videos fabulous, American freight trains are truly amazing
greetings from Italy😄🤩
Thank you very much!
Thats just my dads herd of Deere getting ready for mowing season
Great pictures of you and Shoestring also.❤
Hey that train came through my town in Illinois on the UP Geneva Sub. Commonly referred as UP MG3AH. Mixed freight loads from Global 3 Rochelle to NS Ashland Yard in Chicago
Yes, the tractors came from up there. It becomes the 123 on NS
Oh ok.
Good morning JT. I counted 23 JD tractors on the NS train. You needed to use the eyes in the back of your head for the CSX train. Be safe out there.
I haven't seen the trains in awhile after my radiation treatment and recovery. Gracias, Senior Jaws. RT sends/envia, Colonia Centro Histórico, Puebla, México...
I was wondering where you were. I hope you are feeling better. Rest up and have a great weekend
The green John Deere tractors were a nice touch of color on the first Norfolk Southern train that you caught at the Locust Street crossing in Walton, Kentucky. You asked how you could film two trains on different railroad tracks that meet at the same crossing. You do what you did. You turned so we could see both trains passing on their own tracks. That is what Wide World of Trains does when he is at the crossing near Dunkirk, New York where the CSX tracks and the Norfolk Souther tracks run parallel to each other. The other mixed freights in this video were interesting to watch with the variety freights cars on them.
Great video Jawtooth. Wow you. Got a train with all those new JD DEERE tractors. Then you got a train meet and more trains. And several DPUs today. Pretty exciting! 👍❤️
Thanks 👍
Good morning, Jaw Tooth. Nice catch of the meet in the beginning of the video.
I really do enjoy watching your videos
Awesome train video from Brian. I enjoyed it. It was unusual that there were no other train fans there with you this time.
I was going to ask you about the radar device and to my surprise here we go.👍👍
Those NS trains were in a hurry! Thanks, Jaw Tooth.
Thanks for watching!
Love this morning’s video! Great catch on the John Deere tractors in transit! Your grey pickup (truck) is cool too! May the Batmobile run forever!! Sorry to hear you couldn’t make the trip to see CP 2816. It crossed Highway 5 in North Dakota, 77 miles from me, and I couldn’t get there to see it.
Two trains at once was remarkable. Tractors were cool. Thanks for another great video JT. ❤
Thank you very much!
This was an absolutely spectacular video JT! It just about everything you could imagine or hope to see! You had long trains, really fast trains, new rail cars and old ones. Hopper and flat cars, tank cars and box cars. An amazing number of new John Deere tractors and box cars. And that's not all. Lots of DPUs and more. I'm thoroughly impressed by the variety today. Thank you very much JT! Your videos are always professional and interesting. I hope you and your family have a fantastic weekend, my friend, and we'll chat again soon. 😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
Attaboy JT! Thank you for sharing! You must be an expert railway-man! 👍
I wish!
@@JawTooth Nah... not if the FRA new about your knowledge!
There you go again JT, ya got us a two-fer, right place at the right time … again. 😊
Also, wow on the first train with 3 engines in front and two DPU’s … haven’t seen that many engines in the north east in a long time. Good job.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video. That first train was really cool. Nice train meet.
Quite a few dpu's today and the last one sounded great. Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on
Thanks! You too!
Most people don’t want to live near a rail line but I think it would be fascinating, they carry some interesting stuff.
I live near the tracks, its really nice
Greeting Mr Jawtooth that’s an amazing catch two trains wow my dad sure will watch this new video anyways ready for summer for more trains!
Amqzing catches Jaw Tooth! And find it cool seeing John Deere tractors on a train!
Thanks for watching!
You know I really enjoy it when Mr. O'Reilly joins you. :^)
I'm glad you were there to get both trains - that was really sweet, and the horn salute was interesting!
Okay my friend - be safe!
(I have been unable to watch your vids for several days - getting caught up)
"God is always there for us"
Glad you enjoyed it! I hope you are feeling well.

Good morning I enjoyed the video👍👍
Love watching your videos
Thanks!
Love those green tractors!😼
Me too!
I miss Shoestring, too. Thanks for the pics of him at the end. 💔
I miss him too. We were going to make videos together in the summer
@@JawTooth 😥
Great video JT. Some pretty good catches...
Thanks 👍
Mamma mia a very nice Freight Train experience, they were l-o-n-g freight car sets with several locomotives to keep the sets moving! Thank you for an overview and map to orientate us captivated by powerful machinery.
Hint: To Film Multiple Trainsets simultaneously, utilize drone(s).
Be safe Jaw Tooth....
I really want to get one. I will have to take some time off to pick one out and learn how to use it.
Awesome video. Somebody needs alot of JD tractors. That train had a good freight mix. Great location. Great timing...
Thanks 👍
Lot of money in those tractors
For sure! I hope they keep them safe
Mornin
Morning Jason!
Nice! The first big train with the John Deere tractors and the double DPU ended just as the CSX appeared! That is very cool :) That day was DPU day - every train had at least one :)
Cool, thanks!
That’s a lot of American Monopoly all shipping without any right to repair right. Perhaps the right to repair rail cars are still stuck in DC.
Cool find!
Awesome find!
Plus you pay extra for the green paint
O like it when you call your truck the batmobile
thanks for watching!
Your welcome
You certainly got lucky here. Two of those big trains. You don't see that often.
Greetings from Rob from the Netherlands.😮
Lots of tractors on the move by rail. great video.
Thanks 👍
Excellent outing. Another great spot. Maybe I need to move north. Lol. Take care buddy

good morning Bryant!
Great catches and awesome video
Thank you very much!
Awesome video again

"Listen to that." I'd much rather listen to the smooth chant of an EMD.
Nice job catching those trains jaw tooth keep it up please and be safe please while railfanning please
john deere created a steel on cultivators that didn't rust , this steel mix was used for other farm equipment and made john deere famous
😅
Thanks for the info!
nice shiny tankers on this train.
Had 2 LONG CSX trains yesterday afternoon ..mixed Manifest 2 miles long, followed by a LOADED coal train...
John Deere is getting some new tractors lol.
They sure are pretty

Nothing runs like a Deere!😎🚜🚂🚃🚃🚃✝
I agree. I bought one last year for mowing the yard
