😂 What an experience 😂 i think small talk would have fit perfectly into your conversation with "Kurt". It would maybe have been better if he had kept the conversation just light, easy and fun, talking about something else, instead. It's definitely about the vibe the first time we meet someone, it's like we want rather to feel positive in that environment. Thats why when i meet someone new and they have "pre-prepared lines" to tell me, like whats your phone number etc. I just talk about something else to confuse the person. On the other hand, they may not know what to talk about so they stick to the same pick up lines. 😂 And i want to say you are naturally talented with great charisma and i enjoy your videos. I am new here but already loving your channel. Hello from Stockholm Sweden 🇸🇪😍
Thank you for the kind words 😌💖 Glad you enjoyed the video! And yeaaaaah this definitely was the time for light, fun conversations hahaha. Got way too serious too fast 💀
maybe people just don’t know what’s appropriate to say to marginalized folks? bc this happens to me all the time as a disabled person. it’s “what happened to you” or “what’s wrong with you” before “how are you” or “what’s your name” 🥲🤡 and although those are absolutely not the way to inquire about disability, and absolutely no way to talk to a person, let alone a stranger, i have no problem with deep convos. but there is a time and a place lol.
Yeah exactly! It's all about the approach and the context. I'm more than happy to talk about my experiences living in marginalized identities...but not in the middle of a fun club outing haha. I don't get why that's so hard to understand for people, bc as you said, this kinda stuff happens to us allll the time 😵💫
