It isn't whether your hair can be styled. It's about your scalp tendernessand preferred styles. Were used to wearing tight styles and may develop more tolerance for what might be painful to you. However, there's a ginger teacher at my son's school who wears exactly these styles, kinky braids and all. She always looks so neat and polished. She's probably the most elegant, slick teacher I've ever seen. The neat updo suits her in our tropical climate, career as a primary school teacher, and her neat personality.
Love the look, still, tight braiding a child's hair at the scalp still worries me. I wish we accepted our hair's curl pattern and didn't try to hide it by pulling it so tight especially on children. I apologize if I'm wrong and it just looks pulled tight. Beautiful work overall. Blessings.
I used to do my hair like that all the time....only with my own hair...box braids it... ponytail....come out the pony....then wet the hair and pick it out and bobby pin it into the desired puff. And don't cut the natural hair.
The last hairstyle on the video looks amazing. However I'm just thinking how hot that front crocheted area can be for me. It's so busy/tightly crocheted. Can't even put fingers in between it to oil it 🤔🤔🤔.
