I like the 100% banner. If your resources don't take you to where you get the character, you can just leave it there for the next character. I'd much rather do that than getting yet another Yao at 65/80 and then having extremely little chance of pulling the limited in time. It's very rare to get the limited within 40 pulls after losing 50/50. Pulling dupes for manifestations is a joy for whales but a massive waste for F2P. It will be interesting to see if you can get lucky pulls on the 100% like this past event, where I pulled Cherno on the 2nd pull and Tess on the 1st.
The problem with the 100% banner is they increased the pity to 100 from 80 which is a 20% increase but they literally cut the gacha rate in half (50/50 is 1.5% chance and guaranteed is .7%) so you will never get the character until you reach 100 basically unless your extremely lucky. As a f2p I'm not seeing how we are gonna be able to get 200 pulls every patch because they also do character reruns and since every character in this game is limited the fomo to get the characters is extremely frustrating. I'll have to see if it makes much of a difference as I play. And I agree as a fellow f2p pulling dupes just feels lousy in this game. I'm not sure why they made the gacha system so unsatisfying. Nikke goddess of victory I have fun spending my pulls this game feels like a massive drag for some reason
@@brendonbewersdorf986 - My stance has definitely changed 180 degrees on this. The drop rate on the 100 banner is so low, that it's highly unlikely (if not impossible) for you to save up enough digicash in time to pull the limited. This video actually has the earliest drop I'm aware of so far but from what people in the game chat say about their pulls, the average appears to be somewhere between 85 & 95. Unless the devs changed the 50/50 banner, the odds are much better on that banner for F2P.
@@Maxume yeah that sucks I'm not even sure why they bothered to add the 100 banner of the end result is you basically have to pull just as much as the 50/50 but with an even worse rate. This feels like it was a massive waste of development resources and doesn't do anything to help the players feel like they aren't wasting time with pulls struggling to get double limited characters every single patch. It's been the biggest thing preventing me from wanting to spend money on skins is I literally never get the characters I want so why bother even spending on this game if I'm not even getting characters to play with that have skins. I'm trying to be patient with the devs for this game but I'm really starting to get annoyed because it feels like the only good thing is the game has decent gameplay and coop but why bother playing a waifu shooter where I can't get the waifus. I'll see if Maybe the anniversary brings some Better changes.
Tecnically in the long run this system is a loss for the players since the base chance for a 5* is extremely low. Just for an example in the last cherno banner i was really lucky and lost my 50/50 to life with 20 pulls and got cherno with another 28 pulls, and this wasnt the first time i got a character before the soft pitty. Meanwhile i never hit the hardpitty before in any banner. Luck spikes like that will almost never happen in this new banner since the base chance is only 0.1%. Assuming you're paying 20-30 extra summons everytime to get a guaranteed character, eventually you will have 30, 60 or even 90 extra pulls dumped in these banners when in the normal banner you will spend the same amount and have a much higher chance to get an early 5*

I believe their plan is to keep both banner types.
0.1% is insane low for the 100 % banner. ima go for the 50% banner (0,7% chance)
If you have 100 wishes and really want the character or weapon then go for 100%.
If don't have enough wishes you can chance it.
Does the pity in the Guaranted benner go down in the next benner?
Yes

Your math is wrong. Sticking to the 100% banner is more cost efficient. Simple statistics.
I have a question of I wanted a charters clothing skin do I need the charters default also should I do the 100 or 80 pull
You buy the skin. To get the character either method works as long as you have the character you can equip the skin
@@SilverPryce so wait I can just buy the skin and I can equip it I don’t need the charter base skin
@@astrogamerg2263 no you misunderstand me. They are sold separately but you need both
@@SilverPryce oh why these games got to be like this
