The people giving these thumbs down are doing so out of prejudice and the ignorance and lack of desire to learn of another culture.

I saw other similar videos, but what caught my attention the most about how your Mom cooks, how to clean her, the utensils and inclusive of the places where she cooks, I really believe that these videos should be sent to the UN, ( the kitchen of my country, Mexico has already been declared), they must declare your food and the way your mother cooks, as a cultural heritage of humanity. You are authentic and clean ... Congratulations and many thanks for this beauty ..!

You are benefiting from having your own land and growing your food,no need to buy. That's how it should be for everyone then we wouldn't have poverty on this planet.♥

Every time your she cuts the veggies using the knife like that, I always wince thinking she's going to cut herself even though I know she's been doing it for years and is safe. 🙂 The food looks amazing! I wish I could find the ingredients to make some, and I love how you can go and pick most of your veggies and fruits right off the trees.

Wonder what Grandmother thinks about when making all this delicious slow food? She is meticulous in her cooking but oh so quiet.

June Viarruel Thank you very much for telling me that I'm insane! but you should understand that not all people think the same. you'r negative. I'm positive. I'm from Muscat - Oman. I always travel to Sri Lanka and I have 2 housemaid from Sri Lanka. Most of our maids are from Srilanka. We like them. May be if I met that lady., will benefit from me. I would like to help her.

@@VillageLifeCooking I knew it! Yes, I could tell. You are very skilled with coconuts. You make your own oil, all kinds of food uses coconut. You also use their shells as tools and fuel for the fires you cook with. Very creative. I'm glad to see you take full advantage and potential of the gifts God gave you. Very inspirational!!!

Gladys Palma si has visto todos su vídeos ? Tiene varios utensilios. Debes de darte cuenta que es parte de su cultura y es padre que usen diferentes cosas no como en canales regulares. Sus videos son cortos de por sí.
