Newer Washworld Profile Max at Shell San Marcos Fuel Express Gas Station in San Marcos TX

Today, I'm at a San Marcos Fuel Express owned Shell gas station in San Marcos TX where they have this newer Washworld Profile Max soft touch car wash. With running into a lot of Washworld Razor touch free systems a lot recently, it's nice to finally find the soft touch system that's offered by Washworld (sadly, besides any of the Pic N Pac locations, these systems aren't super popular in my neck of the woods). The Profile Max is the TOL system in the standard Profile lineup with the more basic model being the Profile ST (most of those systems are usually seen with on board dryer systems). This car wash is original to the gas station since it was built in late 2021, so the system is still fairly new, and barely half a decade old, and for the most part, it's very well maintained. I bought the top dollar wash which came out to only $12. and overall wash quality for this I would give it an 9/10, undercarriage was excellent on this (I really love the power tower wheel cleaners on these Profiles and Razors), presoak was pretty good (and if I'm going to be perfectly honest, I'm not a big fan of how the Profile's apply presoak to the car), the soft touch cycle did pretty good as the brushes profiled very well, as well as the top brush, and like many of these Profile systems, they always start off from the back with their soft touch cycle (I also like how the top brush doesn't drop down until it gets to the roof being that this is a pickup truck its washing), and admittedly it does feel a bit strange seeing the top brush start profiling from the rear instead of the front like most other soft touch systems usually do, but that's just a nitpick in the grand scheme of things, the tri-foam pass was great (complete with a simultaneous rinse pass during the same cycle), sealant wax was decent (coming from the presoak manifolds), spot free rinse cycle went great, and the High Velocity (made by Premier) dryers did a very good job too (I like how this one has the dryer covers on both sides) even for being the standard 3 producer dryers.
