Gareth Bale, Darren Bent, Luka Modric Jermyn Genas, Woody Woodgate,.. Not as good as Malbranque and Andy Reid Djibril Cisse only arrived less than 24 hours to score
Definitely need to replay the FA Cup win from the 70's.. Serious need of therapy because it'll be a long time before PL football comes to this part of the North East
@The Roker Roar - If you're only doing SUNDERLAND FC matches when it comes to uploading MOTD Highlights, then could you possibly do these two fixtures next please?; ***Sunderland 1 - 1 Newcastle | 10th November 2007 | MOTD Highlights ***Middlesbrough 2 - 2 Sunderland | 22nd September 2007 | MOTD Highlights
As great a win this was for Sunderland their first at WHL for 30 years Tottenham was the story in this one. The main headline from the starting line ups was no Dimitar Berbatov who'd been dropped admist rumours of a move to Man United which were getting stronger and stronger at the time. Tottenham were so bad at the start of this season 08/09 they only got 2 points from their first 8 games including defeats to 2 of the newly promoted sides in the form of Stoke and Hull the latter was at home which resulted in manager Juande Ramos who's still at the time of posting is the last Tottenham manager to lift silverware for the club, his assistant Gus Poyet and the clubs sporting director Damien Comolli who himself had come under fire from much maligned chairman Daniel Levy for failings in the transfer window to replace the Man United bound Berbatov which included Sergio Garcia from Zaragoza who Ramos wanted and Kevin Doyle from relegated Reading all paying for Tottenham's rotten start to the season with their jobs.
My daughter was born on this day.
Best day of my life.

Cannot believe the standard of players we had back then ? Light years away from what we have to endure today .
