ONE. MORE. WEEEEEEEEEEEK! If they were left speechless by Sam killing a White Walker, they were probably on the floor quivering by the end of episode 9. Also, I love how many of their theories are spot on, however Stef manages to make them feel unsure. And great graphics for the list!
Fun fact about Arya and The Hound : As french person I watched it in French (obviously) and the 2 that are doing french voices for Arya and the Hound are Alice Orsat and Guillaume ... Orsat x) Yes father and daughter played together and its fun when we see them in action, they have great line together x)
Nice touch having Lindsay and Ashley wear their "Sweet Summer Child" shirts right before the penultimate episode of season 3, whereas that title becomes null and void, IMO, as a GoT viewer. I LOVE Ashley's insights!❤ They were EXTREMELY similar to mine when I watched the show for the first time!
This season was when Arya started becoming my favorite character. I'd always liked her spunk and resourcefulness, but the interactions with Tywin as his cupbearer really gave it impetus.

The first third where Lindsay & Ashley tried so many different ways to create connections to make "Second Sons" make sense was low-key hilarious. Especially when the actual reveal came.
You should show them a couple of characters in their youth in other shows... Lady Olena makes a magnificent Emma Peel, and Bronn in Soldier Soldier was a singing teen idol!

House Reyne fled to their mines underneath their castle of Castamere for refuge after they lost the battle to Tywin. The head of the family offered terms of surrender, but instead of replying, Tywin ordered to have all the entrances to the mine sealed and had the mines flooded, drowning all the inhabitants. "Yes, now the rains weep o're his halls. And not a soul to hear."
I always thought that scene between Arya and the Hound was unusual, and that Arya clearly knew the Mountain. She had seen him joust, she had been taken captive by him, she had been tortured by him, she served him at Tywin’s Roundtable, and even when Tywin left, he put her in charge to be cupbearer to the Mountain. So, why she’s being all sassy to the Hound why wouldn’t she say I do know your brother and I survived him - I didn’t get that?
Listening to you guys bring up how bastards can't be heirs makes me REALLY want them to make a show about all the Blackfyre rebellions. Apparently, as we speak, they're developing an animated show for Dunk And Egg too, but eventually it would be awesome to see the rebellions, since they were started after Aegon the 4th (Aegon the Unworthy) legitimized all his bastards right before he died, leaving a power struggle for the throne that resulted in multiple all out wars.
But what if Gendry was not a bastard? Season 1 Episode 2, Cersei reveals her first child, a black haired beauty. Gendry recalls being visited by a lady with Golden Hair. I propose that Cersei, full of hate for Robert, cast their one true offspring aside so that her children born from Jamie could rule. I propose that Gendry is the Rightful Heir to the Throne.

SPOILERY COMMENT SPECIFICALLY FOR STEFFI: All jokes aside, mood upkeep can be really important for battling cancer. I'm a little concerned about the toll that the next episode may have on Lindsey. Like, for real. I just wanted to flag it for you. I know that "3x9 and nothing's fine" is one of the milestone episodes/end of being a Sweet Summer's Child, etc. etc. etc. But just have a care if you can for Lindsey's emotional state. Be the sneaky friend and just make sure it won't hit her too hard while she's wrestling with treatment. Reaction audiences take some amount of delight in schadenfreude, but there's a point where it becomes cruel, and nobody wants Lindsey to suffer more. And you're all very compassionate individuals with advanced EQs and you know. You know. If I could put in one request for the next episode, just let her know somehow that it's going to be a monumental one, even if that means leaving Ashleigh in the dark for the true reaction but giving Linds a word to the wise. Better to lose just a little of the reaction and preserve her health. I am not sure how you might accomplish this but I frankly trust the ability of women to find ways to provide nurturing, or better assessments of a person's emotional state and whether or not it's needed. Maybe just pull her aside and say, "A fan was actually concerned about this particular episode having a negative impact on your emotional health. I think as your friend you'll be fine, and please don't spoil it for Ashleigh, but you need to understand that by the end of this episode, you are both going to be going through some very, very heavy emotional processing. This one hurts."
