As people like to say, “the book is better,” and that’s true for Maid, a series on Netflix based on a memoir by Stephanie Land. Anyway, the Netflix series came off as more sanctimonious than the book, given its heavy-handed message about welfare and other leftist virtue-signaling. #maid #netflix #bookreview
