Got the R8 recently was trying to weigh up whether the extra grand was worth it for the R6 Mk2, ultimately decided I don't need dual SD as I never stray from quality SanDisk SD cards, and the LPE6 battery would be annoying as I also have a canon SL2 that also takes LPE17 batteries so i already have 6+ batteries
The R8 is a solid camera, I’d definitely consider one as a secondary/backup body. I went with the R6 because of its speed, quality and settings layout. Will make a review of it soon!
Great kit, but the most important part is the remote control for the A/C 😁

Top tip, in the UK we have a store called Wex. Have a look on there for second hand lenses (or equivalent retailers). The 100-500mm I got for less than half price because someone ordered it, opened it up, then sent it back cos they ordered the wrong lens…

pretty cool video but please shorten or entirely remove the unbelievably long as shit intro lmao. also the fact that 100-500mm lenses even exist is actually insane. i didnt know lenses with THAT MUCH RANGE existed
Haha! Thank you for the feedback, will shorten it for the next one 😄 100-500 isn’t even close to the longest you can get but the cost for anything larger is insane. Amazing lens though, absolutely adore using it

100-500mm is really specialised, I’d only recommend picking one up if you’ve got some use cases for it.
They go right up to 800mm on Canon’s website www.canon-europe.com/lenses/telephoto-lenses/
@@gordoncameraonI actually like the intro, maybe cutting it after the driving scene or trying to fit it all into a 10 second section? Idk a lot of kids nowadays have never watched anything like topgear or linear TV so they are used to dopamine farms, back in the day intros were a minute plus 😂😂 anything that fights that annoying dopamine farm trend I like more

Just like the format of a proper intro, not sure why, perhaps it is because I grew up on shows with them. Always filled me with anticipation for what was coming up next
