There are ancient Khmer cities Tasik Chini in Malaysia, Wat Khmer Si Muang, Khmer Wat Phou in Laos, ancient Khmer cities, canal and seaport OC-EO in South Vietnam (Kampuchea Krom) where Khmer people still living there and they have been preserving their Khmer culture for over 2000 years, Khmer bronze statues in Myanmar (Burma) and Khmer temples, Khmer culture and Khmer people living in Thailand.
There is so much history to the region people just need to look and appreciate what the ancient peoples created and had to do to survive. They were amazingly tough and resilient.
