Just a PSA about launch fuel: You don't spend launch fuel when you launch from a launch pad either on a space station, or a freighter OR a launch pad (glowing blue circle) on a planet at a point of interest (like a trade depot and some facilities). So the only time you spend launch fuel is when you land in a random place on a planet and have to take off again. You can also reduce the amount of fuel you use each time by getting "efficient thruster" upgrades for your ship. Also once you find planets with uranium that is a much easier way to fuel the launch thruster as you can mine it in large amounts (a few hundred at a time) and it only costs a small amount to launch with it.
So I see nobody has told Dan that humming eggs contain a shit ton of money, and it's whispering eggs that are evil.
It makes me sad that Spore never got a second chance like this.
