- It took two big bikes and a fixed post enforcer to finally bring this motorcycle rider to a stop. Do you think he would stop if he was involved in an accident with another driver or a pedestrian?
The MMDA have been quite flexible and pro-active in their road safety efforts, even giving away free shoes and helmets to many riders. But when it comes to driving without a license, there’s really no consideration that can be given.
They’ve also continued with their bus lane enforcement. Unfortunately more drivers and riders are starting to try use the exclusive bus lane as a VIP express lane and it’s resulting in accidents with the buses - บันเทิง

This is good to see from MMDA shows that they got a heart too, instead of giving the dude tickets they gave him a warning and a shoe. Shows u that they can understand people and that people shouldn’t be aggressive towards them as they only doing their job which is safety of commuters.
A balance between enforcing the law and guiding people to obey the law by themselves 👍
I miss the good ol' days of watching them clear street obstructions and the drama that ensues after 😂
If only clearing operations produced long-term change.
The truth is, many of those vendors are treated as a source of income for the LGU and they help them setup their stalls as soon as the MMDA leave.
@@GadgetAddict Shame that Sir Bong got transferred to EDSA, jamming some sense to stubborn people during clearing was a good source of entertainment.
Fair point, they're mostly short term and superficial if you look at the big picture, but at least they tried.
If you don't play nice with the LGU, you won't stay long in clearing ops.
But if you do place nice with the LGU, you'll never make any real change 🤷♂️

But it shouldn't always be like that...knowing some Filipinos will take advantage of it and end up violating most traffic rules because of that dreaded word, "pasensya na po."
That's why this country lacks discipline. Saying sorry or asking forgiveness but NOT learning anything is the problem.

Motorcycles on EDSA rarely get put on a tow truck because it takes 30-60 minutes for one to arrive.
They called for a fixed post enforcer to come and get it. It's ridden directly to the impound.
There's nothing fishy. Why would they let him go when he doesn't even have a driver's license?
It doesn't matter that he's wearing some volunteer anti-crime t-shirt.
Many people only join those kind of groups to get an ID to flash when they get caught doing something bad.

Yep. Driving without license means Impounding. They radioed for a fixed post enforcer to come get the bike. He arrived after about 10 minutes.

Driving without license is never given "consideration". It's one of the worst violations someone can have and should always result in impounding.

Sadly it is often abused. They say Filipinos are nice, but also fellow Filipino take advantage of other Filipinos being nice and abuse them.
This is why we can't have nice things and more and more people becoming cold and act selfish. People just makes excuses, and for no reason they just do it anyways, not even a concrete reason.

Where is the motorcycle lane? Its already occupy by 4wheels ..the only priority is bike lane and bus lane
There's no motorcycle lane on EDSA.
Motorcycles and cars are treated the same, they can all use the same lanes.
It's only the bus lane and bicycle lane that you can't use.
@@GadgetAddict There used to be an exclusive motorcycle lane on EDSA. It was the center most lane.
But it disappeared some years ago when they put up the bus and bike lanes. Maybe they all wouldn't fit on one road.
It was a non-exclusive motorcycle lane.
That meant riders were forced to stay in that lane, while cars were also using it at the same time.
Personally I'm not a fan of non-exclusive motorcycle lanes.
To be honest I think the whole idea of separate lanes for motorcycles is unnecessary, if people could just be disciplined.
But if there really must be a separate lane for motorcycles, I think it should be exclusive.
