Hope you enjoy my walk around the beautiful city of Oxford. This was my first walking video, so it’s not perfect, but I hope it gives you a sense of what it's like to be in Oxford on a busy day. 😊
Thank you for the video and concept is very interesting especially for a beautiful country like England and all the United Kingdom thank you once again good luck 🤍🤍🤍
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found the concept interesting. Your support means a lot!
Hello, and quite impressive, considering this is your first walking video - also impressive that you did not mention Harry Potter once !!!!!!!!! :)
I arrived in Oxford as an undergrad in 1967 - and didn`t leave again for just under forty years - and as a full professor, so I can be a bit touchy about how my old town is presented - but, you managed pretty well, I thought :)
Oh yes, I watched this whilst enjoying a nice cup of Earl Grey tea - nothing else would seem quite right !!!!!!!
Hello there! I’m absolutely thrilled to hear that my stroll through Oxford has passed the rigorous test of a professor-and long-time resident, no less! I promise to continue leaving Harry Potter in the fantasy realm where he belongs. You keep drinking the tea, and I’ll keep making the videos. ☕ Cheers!
@@VictoriasWalks You are very, very welcome !! In truth, you did make one or two small errors, and perhaps could have been somewhat more expansive with descriptive content - but it would be churlish of me to mention this, so I won`t :)
Another thought occurred to me - as you clearly enjoyed the walk around the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Many of the colleges participate in a well received ' open day ' where the normal entry fee is waived. I suspect you would enjoy the fabulous college gardens, that are a source of pride, and are highly competitive amongst the garden staff to be recognized, annually as the best garden.
Once again, well done - perhaps have a stroll along Merton Street when you are next in Oxford, it`s generally quiet, peaceful and quite attractive - jolly good :)
