For everyone who doesn't have their 30 year old owners manual, bleed the brakes furthest away from the master cylinder first... ie: rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger, and the last wheel...
I think you mentioned this could be done without removing the shoes...... How much more difficult is that since I assume it is since you removed them for this job? Thanks for the quick and to the point video!!
Why would you not want to use locking pliers instead of wire pliers to close off the rubber brake hose? I imagine if you’re careful to not over tighten, it should be fine right?
I was hoping to see HOW to relieve the pressure from the brake shoes from the wheel cylinder, but you completely jumped right past that step. You said it's not necessary to remove the shoes, great how do I get past them then? I stopped watching at the point you said that. The rest of the video was useless to me once you skipped it.
Thanks for the video . I did the same but my wheel cylinder is not moving at all removed two bolts with the bleeder and disconnected the line it's stuck tried to hit it with rubber hammer didn't work im afraid to break something so im stuck any help ? C1500 suberban 99 RWD

I have the exact same truck. Same year, same colors... love that pain scheme. Really considering restoring it at some point.
Where could I find you? You look like an honest and great mechanic
Just let the brake fluid dump all over the shop floor. It's a good idea to let the fluid spray onto the painted underside of the truck.

Note, the hose clamp is removed before bleeding
They make line wrenchs specificly for that so you don't crush your lines.

+DillonR1024x As long as you do not over tighten then you are okay to use locking pliers!

Hold the line from the back and unscrew the wheel cylinder with a pair of pliers
The issue I ran into is I can't remove the bolt on the line it just won't come off
Wish you would have shown how to remove the shoes
Yeah, dont do this. This is bad. So much bad.
