That's actually a Brown water snake = (NERODIA TAXISPILOTA) that is not a cottonmouth. Wow people always miss identify snakes as cottonmouths. Don't call these guys for any professional advice because they are definitely not professionals or they would have known that was a harmless Brown water snake.
P.d Inabinett let’s not insult him everyone makes mistakes and no one should take any advice about poisonous snakes from TH-cam period he didn’t kill it and that’s all that matters sometimes you just gotta be the bigger person and just watch the video for what it is i once said I was in the military on here telling my personal life in a comment being friendly and didn’t get into details at all about my military background but I had some keyboard Warrior blowing up my notifications to the point I wasn’t getting recommendations to new videos from subscription I like to watch its best to just to correct him and leave it be
Why not kill it? Y’all act like it’s an endangered species They everywhere I had one slither right in front of my lawn mower while I was mowing the grass and not even budge it just kept going. If I see one I kill it in my yard Not even gonna give it a chance I’d let a flea live before a cottonmouth. Stuff don’t make sense.
That's not a Water Moccasin (aka Cottonmouth). That was a Brown Water Snake. They are nonvenomous and completely harmless. The fact that a "Wildlife Removal Service" doesn't know this is sad. Also, I'm sorry but it was pretty painful watching y'all catch it, it could have been done much better...
huh. Nice water moccasin. almost like water moccasins swim with their body above water, and have triangular shaped heads, and are short and don't have pink mouths. you can't just see a snake in water and call it a water moccasin.
Brown Watersnake Nerodia taxispilota which looks like a Cottonmouth but is nonvenomous. Check with your bbb rating before hiring any pest control companies.
World record for a cottonmouth is 74 in Long 11 lb. Caught in the Great Dismal Swamp North Carolina / Virginia border. The snake in the video is not a cottonmouth but they can reach five to six feet.

Shoulda knew y’all wasn’t professional, using tongs and a hook. Just look how you grabbed that poor thing by it’s head..... like wtf
It is better to assume a snake is venomous and deadly and later find out it wasn't than to assume it isn't venomous and find out it was.
It's better to act professional if you call yourself professional and don't misidentify a harmless water snake as a venomous cottonmouth.
@@phillipjohnson1234 true but getting bit by a venemous snake that you thought wasn't and dying on the job isn't very professional either.
Would you say the same thing about a ball python? 💀 “let’s assume it’s venomous first” .
