    Tyler Ulis was responsible for 56 of their points where as Tyus Jones was responsible for 38... TYLER ULIS is a all around better point guard especially on the defensive end.

    As a Kansas fan, I gotta say Kentucky got a major steal with this Ulis kid. His height is literally the only weak part of his overall game, something he obviously overcomes against the best of the best. Jones seems like a solid kid too. Will be a great fit at Duke

    What I took from this video was that Ulis put the clamps on Jones and then they started running Ulis through screens because that was the only way to get Jones in a position to create. Ulis dominated that match up. It wasn't even close. I can tell Ulis has that "I'm better than you and I know it" attitude.

    I would still take Tyus on my team, they are both extraordinary players, but Tyus seems to have a certain flow to his game, and is a very smooth and relaxed player. In the end, it comes down to preference and what kind of a coach they play for.

  • @RoclanHicks
    @RoclanHicks 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Ulis squad was pretty athletic as well.. Assisting athletic players is exactly what it is, Assistance which only a little is needed, for even the mediocre PG, becomes exponentially easier due to their team-mates own athletic prowess...

  • @eue84

    Not sure where people get that Tyus is smarter, to me Tyler is one of the best decision making PG I have seen in HS, he sets up defenders to get his guys open, sets up defenders to get himself open, he knows how to use change of pace for his advantage, and he also takes smart shots.

    • @Channel54425
      @Channel54425 11 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tyus has a better feel for the game imo. It looks like he's a lot smoother and has the NBA type of game. Tyler, on the other hand, looks to be a very quick pg with good passing skills. The biggest knock on him is his size. He's only 5'9.

    My idea is to make posters saying "LIFE IS TOO GOOD TO BE WASTED", "LIFE IS JUST TWO DAYS, ENJOY THAT TWO DAYS WITH THOSE YOU LOVE", "THINK TWICE ABOUT THAT YOU GOING TO DO", "SEND TO YOUR BACK YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS, HAVE A POSITIVE LIVE".
    This posters should stay on the roads, highways and in places that people make the suicide, like in bridges, gorges, mountains and other places.
    Please make something about this, depressives love to read and hear these phrases of encouragement.

    To answer you question, no. Tyler has the skills and is definitely a great competitor, but I don't see how he should be ranked higher than Tyus. Size is his biggest obstacle, and if he was at least 6'1 he would be top 25-30. I do think he is better than Chris Chiozza who's ranked on Rivals as #39 overall to Tyler's #49 ranking.

      ahc2599 this upcoming year is his time. He had a mediocre year because the harrison twins had the spotlight. Now that the twins are headed for the draft, ulis will be starting.

    im all in for undersized point guards, especially cause i am one.
    but tyus jones is the smarter point guard and he does what it takes to win. which is why hes the number one point guard. plus he has a shitty team; tyler had an amazing team.
    tyus didnt even seem to put much into this game. in AAU; when he played on a legit team, Tyus killed any point guard that tried to lock him up
