    I prefer the polyester stretchy chord. It's very flexible and bracelets slide on and off very easily!

    I love beading so much ...good for my soul. They have a stretch cord called Bead N Stretch it last much longer than any other stretch cord I've used. All other stretch cord eventually broke.

    Hello from Australia Steph!
    Your men's bracelet was FLY...love the gem selection. I am currently in love with Fire Agate.
    I felt more than enthused to try my own special rendition of creativity, particularly since I have awaiting on my work station the EXACT tools you do....great minds think alike!
    I have viewed a few "how to's" on this specific subject matter but fell in love with your easy going nature, your penchant for quality with a "no fuss" approach.
    Love the fact that you give props to Mum's who utilise creativity to "recharge the batteries"!
    Thanks for the inspiration, I have subscribed.... Blessings Beautiful!

    That is such a beautiful bracelet I would love some African type of bone beads. Where did you get those large stones?

    Hello! Thanks for the video! I have the worst time with making a knot strong enough to hold an elastic bracelet for long term, & also with the elastic itself (have tried several brands, and they all stretch way out after wearing a few times)... Haven't been able to make a sellable stretch bracelet yet :(
    I have watched all kinds of videos on making the knots and I noticed it looked like you are putting the elastic through the loop 2X, on each loop? As well as tying the knots in different directions--is that right?
    Please tell us how long elastic bracelets last, from your experience.
    Finally, TY for the tip on letting the E-6000 dry for 36 hours! I have not been able to get a long term hold from that either; only 2 part Epoxy glue. Thanks for your reply

      From my personal experience it lasts a long time. I've only had a few of my bracelets stretch out and that was because I didn't knot them tight enough. And it also matters how the person is wearing them, and putting them on. They are supposed to be rolled on instead of stretched out and put on. Just my personal opinion tho. Hope that helps! ;-)

    Lovely design.💕Have you tried pulling the knot through the bead to hide the knot? I use .7mm or .8 glue then pull string & glued knot through & let dry inside of bead.
    Just realized this was 4 yrs old.🙃

    Where do you get your stretchy cord? Can you drop the link for where I can get some please?

  • @Liza161980
    @Liza161980 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If U want all the beads to be the same size & not have a bigger bead to (hide the knot) what size cord do you recommend?

    • @StephanieGarrettCreative
      @StephanieGarrettCreative  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It would depend on the size of the beads.. I generally use 1mm cord because it just feels stronger to me. But as long as it can fit thru the hole of the bead, then it should be ok!

    • @Liza161980
      @Liza161980 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for responding! The issue I'm having is .... I'm using 10 mm beads, the 1 mm elastic cord fits perfectly through the hole but after I tie the knot I cannot fit it into the bead to "hide" the knot. I know I can use a bead with a bigger hole but on some of the bracelets I want to use all of the same beads., I was wondering if there's a certain tool that can push the knot into the hole?

    • @StephanieGarrettCreative
      @StephanieGarrettCreative  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      There isn't a tool that can be used that I am aware of , but if you tie it properly it won't be that noticeable. Or you can use a bead spacer that flows with your design. I have many bracelets where all the beads are the same, and I just tied the knot and it looks fine. I think it's just a matter of preference tho.

    Do you sell your jewelry

  • @lisawinward6924
    @lisawinward6924 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Measuring fflat against ruler does not take into account the large size of your beads ...so inside size will be smaller..correct? And i see you dont worry about hiding the knot ......

    • @StephanieGarrettCreative
      @StephanieGarrettCreative  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually it does. Never had a problem with fit! And yes I hide the knot! This is like 8 years ago! Thanks for watching!😉😆
