Thanks a lot for uploading this documentary. I was looking for a documentary to show to my classmates about Guru Nanak Ji's life and teachings. After going through several documentaries available on youtube I came across this one and selected it to play in my Class. Everyone liked it and Guru Nanak Ji's life and teachings are very beautifully captured. All aspects of his life and important historical events are very well depicted. Hats off to those who made this documentary and thank you a lot.

It is rare to remember the greatest mystics of time. Let us strive to remember the God within - all that is good.
    Angry religion must dissolve.
    Light to all.
    Selah.

The very FIRST teaching of the Guru's clearly sets out what God is, including the role of the Guru.
Ik oankar - One absolute being (God)
Satnam - Eternal truth it's name
    Karta Purkh - Creator
    Nirbau - without fear
    Nirvair - without hate/ enmity
    Akal Murat - Deathless/timeless image
Ajuni - Beyound birth and death
    Saibang - self existant
Gurprasad - known by the Guru's Grace.
    ...
This is repeated numerous times and at the start of every section as a constant reminder.

The story I know is one where Guru Nanak told them he would be leaving this realm. Hindus and Muslims began to debate as to how his remains should be treated. They asked Guru Nanak Dev and his response was for them each group to bring flowers and leave. Those whose flowers survived the longest would be able to do with his mortal body as they wished (cremation for Hindus or burial for Muslims). Each of the groups brought flowers and left. When they returned after Guru Nanak’s prescribed time. They found a sheet covering what they thought was his body. When they removed the sheet only the flowers remained; all alive. Guru Nanak Dev’s body was not present. This version makes more sense as they would have asked his wishes for his remains while he was still alive. Guru did not want them to argue and found it to be only and factor which would divide people again after his departure. Thus, neither group was able to perform their ritual. They were all Sikhs, whether Muslims or Hindus; as they were the disciples of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Let is not forget IK ONGKAR; contemplate it’s meaning (the symbol for it and the words). Meditate on SAT NAAM. I pray you will find your answers if you are a Sikh (seeker, learner, disciple).

All religions believe in one god. Hinduism is misunderstood even the geeks both are actually monotheistic the other gods ana goddesses are Demi gods and managers of different sections of multiverses. But they also have one all mighty head who runs them all

He used hindu names for God too
It was to show everyone that we worshipped the same God
allah is a title not a name it means the God
Waheguru is the true name of God brother

❤Fantastic presentation... The Universe is uniquely one..and so .that superpower holding this must be one entity not visible and palpable.. Is it not the unique God

The Creator is Allaah and not just any God. He sent Prophet's and Messengers with Revelations as Proof and Guru Nanek was 100% not of them. Prophet Ibraheem, Noah,Musa,Eesa ibn Mariam (Jesus),Prophet Muhammad was some of the Major Messengers of God as mentioned in the Qur'an

      How?
He united people as one, spoke of one true God, asked his disciples to be in love with God 24/7, do selfless service without discrimination, see all beings with equal eye.
      How that is evil?
