Leorio has the biggest balls in the verse, he just doesn't give a f. He'd do the same to Meruem even if he ends up dying in the process. I won't even be surprised if he's immune to the Royal Guard's En lmfao.
For me it was when I read the Manga version of the Killua rescue arc, and it showed that Leorio could open two doors by himself. He was stronger than both Kurapika and Gon.
Have a friend like Leorio. He is there to help his friends while they are in trouble. He was there for Killua, for Kurapika in Yorknew and now here for Gon.
You can look at it as leorio paying off his debts to the crew... or you can look at it as a guy who lost his best friend as a child who vowed to always do something for the sake of a friend. Yall flip that coin

KurApika is still fulfilling his goal of getting his clans eyes back, but it’s sad he’s taking that burden all on his own. I did a short analysis on him a few years ago, part of it involved interpreting how the studio took it to create THIS particular outro. Gon is at the forefront chasing his dreams and Killua is close behind because he truly Loves his friend and feels as if being by his side was part of his salvation from darkness. Leorio is also close to the front two but he also serves as the tie between them and Kurapika, I’ll explain why. Kurapika is standing further back than all of them, he’s alone in a sense, reflecting his feelings that he needs to do all his work by himself, but who looks back, Leorio because he refuses to let Kurapika lose himself in that darkness, I mean neither would Killua or Gon, but as Melody said, Leorio has a pleasant warm and soothing heartbeat, he’s the most empathetic, and we saw that turn into rage on Ging, I have more videos on Kurapika , but for you two they would spoil so avoid. (Abby you look GREAAAAAT btw 😍)
Leorio's the most pure soul in this anime. He's pure good. He knows how the world works (thus wanting a lot of money) and he wants to end the corruption within it. Out of the four protagonists, he's definitely the only one who's 100% good from the very beginning and throughout the whole story. He's probably the only one who has no selfish intentions and only wants to help others. Definitely the closest thing we get for a hero in this story.

One thing people fail to point out is that Ging notices the punch coming and just decides to take the punch. It’s not like he can’t dodge considering he’s a top ranking hunter. He just decided it wasn’t worth dodging Leorio punch.
It’s less that he didn’t think it was worth dodging and more that it was his exit strategy for the election and to help set Leorio up as a candidate. He definitely purposely agitated him.
Spoiler Ging plays games with my heart. I thought I misjudged him when he took the punch out of respect for Leorio. Then I found out he essentially did a curbside pickup with my boy's nen ability. The deception!
Spoiler Yes he knew he could tank it but he also took it because of his a talent to copy emmision hatsus once they hit him, he later thinks Leorio crafted a good hatsu, you can do other stuff with it. Also he took it to create a good competition to Paris, Ging wasn't in a good position to win at neglecting visiting Gon and he's kinda disliked in particular with some Hunters, a lot of people after this vote Leorio so he become another obstacle to Paris.
I love Abi for staying on Ging's side and still liking him. She almost understands Ging, she just needs more context to put it all together about who Ging is as a person.

This isn't like most generic shounen where the entire group just aimlessly travel together for no reason, Kurapika has been seriously devoted to his life's mission, working in the underworld, so he likely isn't aware of the events of the last few arcs, nor can he really afford to keep in touch. Also, the entire path that Gon has been on this entire time was to chase down his dad and earn a place by his side, so Ging just going to him when he's fully confident he will recover is just an insult to Gon's resolve.
