Thanks for the comment...The unit is about 16 lbs, so a bit much for an old guy to hold while drying the vehicle. As you mentioned, Metro does demo pulling the unit around, and because the wheels on the Master Blaster don't swivel, there's a tremendous amount of stress on that connection. The dolly has swivel wheels that reduces some of that drag.
Besides the obvious cheap crap hose, one would think that a $350 leaf blower would at least come with a shoulder strap and some decent polyurethane castors. Seeing this video has convinced me to avoid this over priced blower.
Nice video bought one arriving today!! You mentioned 20 amp circuit is that a must or if I put one motor on wait for seconds then turn the other motor on will the fuse breaker not trip?
It's a must if you want to get the most out of the Master Blaster! It made a big difference when I went to a 20 amp circuit, much more air blowing out. You could run one motor, but with a 15 amp circuit it will probably blow/trip with an 18 amp draw when both are running! You'll love this Metro, it makes the job go faster. Make sure you keep your vehicle waxed so the water flies off.
I have been looking for a car blower and MetroVac is right at the top of the list. My main issue with MetroVac is simple, they give little thought to product design. Their wheels are small with limited mobility. The hose is too rigid. There are competitors who are built out of China with more advanced build quality. I want to support MetroVac because they are produced here the United States (and the price shows it) but they need to move listen to their current and potential clients by updating their 1950 product designs and addressing the weak points .
Can you elaborate more on what you bought exactly to keep the dryer from tipping over? Do you have exact part numbers on the items you bought from harbor freight? Thanks.

I just love videos that include "outside the box" tips like your tip about building a wider wheeled base!

Why not just use the huge compressor that you already have in your garage ?
