I owned the real one of these. What a boat! Very comfortable. By the way I have owned Citroens, Lincolns and Ladas (forgive me) in addition to Fords, Volkswagens, Hondas, Volvo s60. The Lincoln mk 5 was the most comfortable of all. The Volvo second.
I bought one a few days ago, in dark red and considering the low price it is very convenient and even if you can't open the doors, at least you have an excellent representation of the Lincoln, I am very satisfied with it, I have not found any defects.
You mention hard plastic windows vs "foil"? Are you referencing the ultra thin plastic used on sealed models for their windows / windshields? I personally wish all manufactures used rigid plastic. Those ultra thin fragile windows always also seem to have glue failure & warping.
Where can I order this???? I inherited my uncle's 79 Lincoln continental. It's has 29,000 original miles & looks like the day it rolled off the assembly line. I want to order one of these & keep it with the car. That's amazing diecast version of it. The details making it is amazing
look for them on ebay, or try the original vendor i ordered from (altough he is located in germany) modelcarworld dot de who will soon re-release this in new colors (green, white and silver)
I’ve been wanting to order a few of these high quality Lincoln models from this website. I still want to even though that Challenger decal on the passenger side dashboard thoroughly annoys me. With the quality of this model, I can’t believe they either made a mistake/or tried to get away with that, considering the quality of the rest of the product. Thanks for posting this thorough video though! Looking at some of these models online seems too good to be true considering none of the other companies make these obscure car brand models!! I’m a Lincoln guy who has owned 8 Lincolns and they never make the obscure models that everybody forgets about. They need to make a Mark VII now!
I hope to add one such as this to my personal collection glad to know it's in 1/18 scale. I normally lean more towards Cadillac, however I feel any true diecast car collection needs to be diverse ( my opinion only)! Really glad I checked out the video.
All the experts... They are not called Lincolns. The Mark III, IV and V were Continental only. The later Mark VI, VII and VIII were badged Lincoln only. Never play expert. Many in comments too. Continental was originally a separate brand from Lincoln, later and higher. This was a good reproduction. The best version was the 75th year anniversary Diamond Jubilee Edition. The 400 was called the M400 not a Cleveland. The 460 also known as 385 series, a beast. My Mark IV came with 4 disks standard... So, another boo boo. Focus on the model, it was exceptional. Those painted lights were in fact only reflectors, so good enough. If you thought the line on the side widow was a scratch...No, very fancy vent window that opens electronically. You did an excellent video in fact. You caught that "Challenger" script and also the seats were not correct. Ford had many seat options, those were not one. Do check out the real full size Duamond Jubilee, considerably more beautiful than the Bill Blass, you will fall in ♡ Cheers 🍻
I would like the 79 Bill Blass model with white and blue combination and the carriage roof and white interior to complete the 1/43 Neo. To complete my 1/1 model..😊

Nice mark v, the car is pricey, and looking at the paint job, I give it a 2 rating other than that the Lincoln is nice, drop the price to 20 bucks, that's a fair price.
11:35 On a Bill Blass the script in the opera window is Bill Blass - not Cartier.
They were beauties in real life and they were land yachts. Thanks for posting.
❤ love it , it's been long over do and they need to make all of the Mark series
Where can I order or and buy one of these beautiful car's, 1/18
Dieser Wagen hat definitiv was, was mir schon seit Kindheitstagen zusagt. In dieser Farbkombi auch sehr schön! :)

I had a 460 engine. It had a ton of torque. It would drive that car up steep hills like a jet. You just gotta have a ked foot
I just got my green mark 5
I want one...
When I acquired my model (the white version) I airbrushed blue flames on it. It looks like it's moving while standing still.
Oh the details ❤️❤️❤️

Wish the Mark V badge was on straight though !!
Beautiful Classic model car. Paint job is really nice👍😊

So the challenger has the Lincoln dashboard just kidding I'm a big Lincoln fan
1973 Corvette had 4 wheel disc brakes.
6 years before Lincoln.
Ah, ok, that claim about the all-around disc brakes seemed a bit off to me too.
65 Corvette too!😀
My Mark IV came with 4 disc's standard.

Why would even make this car let alone 1/18
This is not Bill Blass. Bill Blass was white and navy. This combination is known as navy and chamois.
This is the '77 Bill Blass coloration. The '79 had the white and navy two tone you're talking about.
