Mick Guzauski is such a nice guy, probably one of the nicest and most talented guys in the industry. Can't thank him enough for being so kind and inspiring. Thank you Mick for using one of your fantastic mixes for this great demonstration!
They sound great. Although the left & right thresholds on the Vari-Mu are *way* off. As it's in link mode (which links the detector side chain not the controls) it might explain why it sounds like it's "pulling" so much. (2:53)
Mick Gusauski# Dir Sir, would you be so kind and tell me the name of the silver Alloy cases that are houseing the four Manley devices? The contrast between the silver and blue Alloy looks awesome and I would like to buy it for my HiFi & studio stuff ( Massiv passiv, steelhead phono, jumbo shrimp ) Many thx

Numu is so snappy, great for the material in this demo
Great video and presentation. Glad you are sharing your knowledge Mick!

Love Jamiroquai! Wasn't expecting this!
The slam is incredible...
track sounds great without the compressors
Great job, Mick. The last time I saw you was on St. Paul Blvd. where you needed to use my phone many years ago. I hope you are doing well.
damn that manley slam! sounds killer.
Ears mysteriously leaning towards both Manleys without my prompting!🎧🦉👍🏼
such a cool guy, and a great presentation!
Mick is awesome.. The track sounds great
Good comparison; thanks! Yes. I'm tempted.
Can you share what tubes were in the vari mu unit? Were you using hp filter mode? This does make a big difference in performance.
That was a stock Variable Mu unit with the 5670 input tubes, (not the TBAR mod).
@@eveanna Thanks!

If I was to not buy a Moog One, there is always these.
I don't understand, why Elop+ works like an imager that makes everything sounds stereo, especially obvious on bass and vocal. I'm tempted to get one
What is this song though?Love it 😁
I like this dude....he's fun
He's a legend! He engineered and mixed Daft Punk's Random Access Memories (and tons of other amazing records)

Dont put laptops on speakers. The large magnets are big enough to erase data from your harddrive
