He did not show concern for his life or hers, deciding for her a future that she had no say in because she had no idea he was cheating. We easily could have been talking about all three (him, her, and child) having HIV. It should be seen as a form of domestic abuse and domestic violence..

The was chosen because he had lived with aids 12 years The Doctors couldn't figure out why ever one had passed within 1 to 2 yrs of testing positive. In July of 1993 he was gone due in fact to a parasite inunder cooked fish. It cause dicentary. I always say parasites germs and viruses will be at the top of food chain. What was extremely disheartening to us. Was that Ronald Reagan sat on all the different ways the virus could be spread for 6 years. Millions of humans were exposed unknowingly.

Remember that's her truth, her choice, and her pain to walk. Me, idk how much I could have taken, but me in jail would be on my list of how to handle this. I'm devastated that she had to endure this, but happy she survived it. I'm in shock to this day.

It also sounds like she was kinda happy with the situation, that's why when i hear people say I've been married for such and such years I'm not moved by that because you never know what's been going on within that marriage.

Perhaps this is an older interview because I thought it was more like 35 years ago. I remember sitting in a residence hall dining room at Michigan State in shock. The house that Magic built a short ways across campus. I am glad they made it.
The fact that he broke it off so many times indicates to me that he was wresting with something - that something I believe is the same issue his son has wrestled with. I do not believe that he contracted this from female groupies.
These men who USUALLY end up with AIDS/HIV, are USUALLY ON THE DOWN LOW, AND DIDN'T GET THESE DISEASES FROM WOMEN!!!!! Is less this someone with a disability someone older than u I said man what are you own about I’ve dated someone older than me then he says do u know someone can have HIV and not be able to pass it to you and you can have kids but those kids not be HIV I was like man I only asked you if u u want to be tested then he said I have it I screamed on the phone I asked a silly question like how did u get it then he said why are you shocked we haven’t slept together then the next thing he said I was joking I wanted to see your reaction then he rang me the following day saying not to call him again so I’m left with questions does he have it then if I had accepted to go out with someone I would be worried all the time if something happens then I get it so big up to Cookie because I don’t think I could do it myself knowing he was cheating for him to get it big up cookie

Oprah was too opinionated in this interview. She kept cutting her off and it almost felt like she was showing disdain for Cookie's decision to stay with him... the comment about him calling other women "that could have taken days" was unnecessary and rude ...
