I was only 4 years old and it was my first time to Disney world. I have such vivid memories of this parade. Such Nostalgia. This and those Disney vacation planning videos that use to play in the hotels. Good times ❤
@@bagofgroceries plus they wanted to add more Disney tunes to the soundtrack too. it might just be me but the 4 loops created for the new Finale in 2022 seems a bit overkill if you ask me since all the other sections only have 2 alternating loops,

Wow, I never figured I'd find a video of the parade from 2000! This was shot in February and I'd go to WDW for the first (and so far, only) time five months later in July. The moment I saw the Blue Fairy and those dragonfly dancers I KNEW this was the version I'd seen! (Listen...it was 2000. Dragonflies were on everything. lol)
Sorry to be 10 years late on this but this video from 2000 is the same parade from DCA they shipped it to WDW in the late 90s brought it back to Disneyland in dca and then back to WDW then back to Disneyland in 2017, the original WDW version was sent to Paris, then supposedly sent to Hong Kong where it was destroyed (we don’t know if the Hong Kong part really happen)

I'll never agree with the decision to get rid of this original, CLASSIC version of the soundtrack.
I can understand it. Fixed coreography issues with the classic music. But it was not necessarily the right decision.

Man do I miss this original parade. The one they have on loan from DCA is good but doesn't compare to the original Magic Kingdom version.
