Interesting, almost as crazy and silly as my 2L i4 that I built to go the other way, consume as much fuel as possible. The first concept of that engine actually shocked Rob of Automation as he never expected anyone to build something so extreme that the game engine would crash, but yet it did. When we did the math, turns out what we had created was a fuel pump rather than an engine :P that made about 1-2 Hp of power output at peak RPM. Exported to BeamNG, the car didn't even start as BeamNG was not happy with the engine.
@@lagamerfuel9661stupid? You realize that your measurements are the stupid ones. A liter is 1000ml. And giga liter is 1000L. A kilogram is 1000 grams. A km is a 1000m And a gallon is 128 ounces how’s is anyone supposed to remember that.
This engine on paper seems to be similar in performance to a Honda 125cc scooter engine. Of course, the irl Honda engine only gets around 100 mpg, and is a single cyl, while this tiny monstrosity is 3 cylinders.
when I drove my 125 Motorcycle (mt 125), I had about 3,3 litres/100km or 71 mpg while driving 100 km/h. When driving 70 km/h I had about 1,7 litres/100 km or 138 mpg. And all that while having 15hp and shitty aerodynamics, because I am huge.
Seeing that tiny 100cc engine makes me wish we could make 2 strokes but those would be so pointless for automation, what we really need is diesel engines tho but one thing at a time im hyped for the superchargers

Wouldn’t having a higher top speed increase mpg? I mean the car is covering distance faster. I think you’ll get the best mpg of somewhere around 45 to 50 mph due to air resistance. That’s a thing to test out

The percent goes for engine thermal efficiency, which is a very different thing. Fuel economy varies depending on vehicle weight, gearing and aerodynamic drag. I have it on kilometers per litre (km/L).
@@GenGamers Settings > Measurements > Fuel Consumption. You can use L/100km (liters per 100 kilometers), km/L (kilometers per litre), mpg UK (miles per British gallon) or mpg US (miles per American gallon). And before you ask, yes, USA and UK gallons are different.

ah yes the true ol engine fuelled by flowing over a water wheel
lmao just 4 pushrod fuel pumps duct taped together
1 liter = 0.26 gallon, so this car would take 11m30s to burn 1 Liter of Fuel

I feel like you could have given that car a few more gears and increased fuel efficiency simply due to better gearing, but otherwise great vid!
bro did not just say "peel p50 looking ass body" 😭😂🤣
madlad built a peel p50 and went "yeah i can fit a second person in there"

bro he just made a gasoline power wheel
Edit: where do i get this mod?
this car would be a perfect city car, for the ULEZ zones.
I drink less water per week than what this engine's displacement is

I have a rotary powered fiat 600
could you try and recreate that one?
300cc 15hp

The turbo doesn't even spool up, if it did it would make fuel efficency better and maybe with usable speed 😭
YOU FORGOT TO SET THE TECH POOL TO +15
What happens if you raise the top speed and rpm limit and give it a 7spd trans. Oh and push the tires past the body lol.
20 days of fuel!!!
So, 30 km/h max speed and around a 150 kg mass?
Incredible efficiency?
