  • At the Ace Cafe in Orlando. My 2002 Kawasaki ZRX gets it's first Dyno run. The torque numbers were off due to Dyno malfunction. I was totally impressed with a stock engine on this bike and the numbers that it put out. The mods done to the bike are K&N airfilter pods with rain covers, Holeshot Performance complete exhaust, ELS timing advancer set at 4 degrees, and bigger main jets. The rest of the engine is bone stock with 27,000+ miles on it.#zrx ,#zrx1200r , #kawasakizrx1200r, #acecafe , #bikenight , #kawasaki #zrx1200r #ryanmotorsports #rynodyno #dyno #zrx

    My original 99 1100 with Zx11 cams airbox mods and a full Hindle exhaust and many hours of jetting put out 132 HP to the rear wheel! My favorite bike of all time 👍👍

      @@TRocksGarage777 It revs!! and you HAVE to rev the nuts off it, but thats part of the fun, it was restricted when i bought it (as most JDM bikes of that era and size are) there was a speed restrictor under the speedo, which (again like all JDM bikes of this era) only went up to 180 Kph (110 mph)
      but ER-5 speeds look almost the same fit straight in and go up to 220Kph (140Mph)
      the other restriction is in the CDI, but i bought a de-restrictor box from the UK. Nothing much happens below 8000rpm, which is most un-ZRX😆 but over that it picks up and by 10,000 its screaming toward the 14,000 redline. Next on the list is stiffer springs and shocks, its sprung for light Japanese people, not 17st Kiwis 🤣.

    Such a great looking bike.. I have a low mile ZX12R, curious how similar the engines are? I have a full Ti Akrapovic fitted PCIV and a ‘dyno’ graph showing 178bhp

      Your ZX12R engine is totally different than the ZRX1200R egine. Those are some good numbers and sounds like a strong running engine.

    • @TRocksGarage777

    I agree your torque number is insane and would never be higher than the HP number, but what mods do you have on your bike? I have a 2001 with a 4° Advanced timing, Factory Pro jet kit, filter pods, stainless headers, and the Yoshi pipe.

    • @TRocksGarage777
      @TRocksGarage777  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the torque numbers were off by quite a bit. The operator of the dyno must of got a bad pick-up on his wire. My mods are listed in the description for the video above. Basically my mods are the same ones you got just different brands for parts.

      @@toddlehman928 Some countries have noise laws regarding how loud a motorcycle is, so they made a large quiet muffler, it is also the style of the era it was made. The stubby fart can exhausts are meant for modern bikes with the “breadbox” muffler under the bike.
