2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve Interior Review! Is Jeep is a Luxury Brand Now?

After spending a week with the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve… I may have fallen in love. Specced out here with the High Altitude package and a bold Hydro Blue Pearl two-tone finish with special wheels and a gorgeous Palmero leather and open pore wood interior, this $76k beast blew me away with its ride and handling quality, interior materials, and just a true luxury feel.
@Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: Currently you can get a Grand Cherokee L in a 3.6L V6 or with a 5.7L V8. My tester came with the V6 making an OK 293HP and 257 lb-ft of torque paired to a 8-speed auto. MPG isn’t good at around 19 MPG City/26 MPG HWY/22 MPG Combined. We also have a Quadra-Trac II® 4WD System, Electronic Limited-Slip Differential Rear Axle, and Quadralift air suspension.

The ups:
-The looks, inside and our, are TOP TIER. And that goes for build quality inside and out. It gets a 9/10 here
-The handling and suspension comfort feels German/european
-Technology offered is class leading with night vision, a passenger screen, advanced driver systems and more.
The downs:
-Though the tech is good… there were a host of glitches and the instrument cluster is a hot mess.
-MPG is very disappointing even in the V6, we NEED a 4XE variant.
-SOME interior bits could be better, like the door controls & turning indicator.. and the massive fixed second row center console.
Regardless, I give eye catching SUV a solid 9/10.

Good review and tour video for the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim. That's the vehicle I have. Mine is also a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim. Only three differences are mine is in black (Diamond Black Crystal Pearl) for the exterior color, mine has the V8 engine and the seats are deep beige color. As for the exterior color I wanted it in the Midnight Sky Blue color (basically navy blue), but the dealership didn't have it. Neighboring dealerships didn't have it either. At some point in the coming months, I'll head over to the dealership to have them paint the vehicle in the color description I wanted initially which is Midnight Sky Blue. I'm glad this trim level has the front passenger infotainment screen because in comparison to the other vehicle brands, only a couple of them will have a screen for the front passenger. The others don't. The front passenger infotainment screen is optional for both 2022 and 2023 model year Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles, but it will be standard for the 2024 model year. Jeep started getting the 2024 model years since couple weeks ago. Another feature this vehicle has and is only found on few of the competitors is heated/ventilated seats in the second row seats. Most of the competitors will have heated/ventilated seats for the front seats and just heated seats in the second row. This fifth generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L is a good vehicle. I would recommend anybody to get it.
