Just found out I'm a descendant of Ae on my mother's side of the family. I'm from the states and will be heading to Ireland here in a couple of weeks. Mostly staying up in County Donegal and a day trip to Dublin, but I'd love it if I could swing by here to discover my ancestral home.

I was down in Athy in early July this year and it's looks almost unchanged (as far as I can tell) from your video. Maybe some shops have changed or closed down that's all.
Wouldn't have thought that Athy would have changed very much in 2 years given the state of our economy. But will take another look shortly. Maybe the weather will have improved!!
