Finally I was able to see the trucker behind the very unique voice. Well, please enjoy your home time. Don't eat too much good food. The truck stop food will make you pay. Pay dearly. Take care and be safe. Also, please tell your family Happy Mother's Day.
Alex your content has inspired for a while now, but this is the point where I’m going make a change by becoming a trucker. I’ve been in a nasty rut for months now without a car and I’ve been struggling, but your content’s popped back up on my feed, a school opened up in a town close to me, and my friends keep urging me to get my CDLs. Wish me luck, I see this as my calling to be able to get myself and my family out of this nasty rut we’re all in right now.
I can honestly say I have zero interest in trucking and have no desire to become a trucker but I can’t get enough of your content. Keep it up, man! Awesome stuff!
Dude I love your attitude and the way you carry yourself man. I don’t know why but you remind me of myself when I was first starting out. Very inspirational video as well. take care of your self be safe.
2 hour crew, roll up, let’s show this man the support he deserves for being out here when it’s “absolutely freezing” lol 🥶 Keep it going, Alex, you inspire me!
I've really enjoyed watching your videos, and I look at trucking in an entire new different light since I began following you. This video I just ran across today and it is very inspiring and really hits home. I play it over and over listening to your words about being able to have anything you want out life and be where you want to be if you fight hard and work towards it. I hope to soon overcome some of my repeated failures and be where I want to be in this life and onto happier times. If you ever travel through or deliver to Southeast Missouri, the bootheel, give me a honk on your truck horn as you are passing through. Safe travels and keep posting videos.
So happy to see you were able join the family for a good meal. Remember to stay on a consistent schedule to get together with/connect with them. Family is always important.
Do it. Don’t listen to the naysayers that all they do is complain about their companies. If you do, you’ll never do it. I started over the road 48 states w my dad at 17 years old. At 21, I applied to a grocery company in Los Angeles which was a Teamster shop. That lasted 37 years until I retired a couple of years ago. Watching Alex here really brings me back to the job and I miss it a lot. 3 million miles with no chargeable accident, got to see the country the first few years, then stayed local for the next 34. Bought two homes, raised 3 kids. All because of a great job. You’ll love it if you already like it by watching videos. The trick is to try and get a local gig as soon as you get enough experience. Unless you want to drive over the road. In that case, you can go anywhere to find work. Good luck.
I found your videos while I was in my CDL training class. I feel like we both started out truck driving careers around the same time. I went solo without a trainer in early Feb 2022 and have crossed the country numerous times from Virginia my home base to Washington, Oregon, California and every state in between. So far of the 48 contiguous states I haven't been to are all the states north of New York. So in less than 3 months I've already been to 42 different states. Prior to trucking I'd only been off the east coast once to go to Yellowstone. This job has really opened my eyes to how vast the US is.
It’s amazing how different looking the “country side” of New Mexico / Utah and Nevada is, compared to for instance the east coast. The first time I had a load going to Washington state, I drove through the Navajo reservation. Amazing, how different it is. Truck driving is life
It took me forever to get Rhode Island but I finally got it on a trip to Maine and that was the last ones I needed to say I have been to every state in the lower 48 :).
@@HiltsyAdventure yeah I'm still short anything north of NY. Just havmet gotten the opportunity to do so. Any now I'm starting a new company and I'll be regional and dedicated so... Might not happen for a while.
I don't know if that was your car but if your not going to use a vehicle for a month or more disconnect all the battery cables. When I was in the Navy and went on deployment for 6 months that's what I did and the car would start everytime.
Alex, thanks for sharing from your heart a little bit about yourself at the tennis court. You made the right decision and now you have a good job driving truck. Thanks for showing us your family who are very important in your life. Blessings to you.
I think that you are a very very smart young man....and you have a outstanding sense of humor.....and most of all a very good sence of who you are as a person...... you're content is outstanding and funny..... but in saying that it still gives the viewer a really great point of view on life on the road as a over the road trucker.....and all of the ups and downs and in-betweens that you go through on a day to day basis....... some times people just don't understand what it takes to drive a transport truck ......and basically having to have eyes in the back of your head......I think what you are doing is outstanding and please keep pumping out the videos......you are a true professional and with a great sense of humor.....keep on keeping on.......
College scholarship for tennis…. Lands you a truck driving job…. No education required…. Not dogging on you at all, love yhe videos, and what you said towards the end of the video was spot on. I’m a Land surveyor, never thought I would end up where I am today. Gotta have faith and believe in God.
if you ever have another video like this I want you to know any car or truck with no keyhole you have to have the little key block it's actually called a key fob in the vehicle with you and you have to press your foot on the break and then hit the starter button and it'll start and then let go of the break
So glad to finally see your face, Alex. Thanks for making it real. I'm looking for you every time I see one of your company trucks. Mostly all I see are old guys.
Oh man, FINALLY your face! Alex, what a discovery to see the man behind that amazing voice! Bless u man! Keep going with this channel you are becoming popular!
Pretty common comment on this it’s nice to see the person behind the channel so many content creators don’t really in to detail on there life for good reason u know there r ppl out there that take advantage of that and stalk them or sum but it’s nice to kno that sum1 is behind the channel it’s almost as if yt has taken over our identity or it’s so easy to just be sum1 else and i like that but to an extent it’s cool to kno that ur genuine keep up with the good work i would like to keep tryna work towards trucking but i got other dreams and that quote kinda helped me 😁👍
My company, TNI, is the best in home time. You can go home up to a month if you need to. You can drive as much as you want too. The only thing is if you rest more than a month, you need to go through orientation again. Because their system kicks you out if you are not active after a month. Also, the reason we get good home time is because we need to take everything from our trucks if we do more than a restart. Btw, thank you for sharing your face with us. Now I can actually make out a face when you speak during POV. Beautiful family, brother.

Or do you go to your home city and walk to your car in the parking lot? And you have to move all your stuff out of the truck? Sorry if these are dumb questions, just trying to picture how it works.
