You're funny. But you're right, pride in your setup is important. For that event we were delayed starting setup due to traffic to get from Vancouver to Whistler, so the drape was thrown up. A multiple day event so I'm sure we cleaned it up for Day 2 and 3. But thanks for the comment.
The cameras are 1080p from SMTAV. Virtually identical to PTZ Optics cameras. Only thing they lack is NDI built-in, it's an add-on though. SMTAV were about 1/2 the price of the same models with PTZ Optics. Their website is still listing their products.
We were at an event in Whistler and have 4 hours off in the afternoon. So I packed along the PTZ cameras and threw it all out in the ballroom to demonstrate. Some have criticized me for the mess of cables, but it was never intended to be a setup for the client's event (although we thought about adding it in as free add-in). Bu the time they came back into the room all the PTZ stuff was packed up and we were back to neat and clean.
