Fur Elise was the first piece that I ever learned by ear before I began piano lessons. I think this is the piece that every kid wants to learn! Need I say more? Did you know there is a second version of Fur Elise discovered by the music editor, Barry Cooper? It is pretty interesting to listen to the differences between the two versions, perhaps I will post the second version at another time.

Hi Flaming, thank you for the nice compliment! And yes, I agree. This piece is quite hackneyed and I think it is every classical pianist's/ piano teacher's least favorite piece to listen to! But alas, you can't have a piano channel without it! lol.
