Nerf 100% I would trade that 25 health for the range in a heartbeat
deffo a nerf, i feel like im just doing enough dmg so that the enemy supports can farm them, its like im helping the enemy team lmao. Wish they would revert it back and keep the health too or at least give him a mobility skill cause every close to mid-close range heroes all have mobility (i.e. Soldier with the sprint, Tracer with recall and blinks, Reaper with wraith and teleport, ashe with coach gun and stronger dmg ) or buff his dmg to 75 per body shot like ashe so that it feels better. Its unfair that they want to make cass play closer yet not give him anything to protect himself other than the clunky grenade and a stupid roll. He has to have some sort of mobility or just bring back the previous dmg falloff
A nerf and its always noticable in my games, when I have a cas on my team but you are always popping of john so 😁🤩
Slight nerf. Think if they went halfway with the falloff like 25-40 it wouldn’t be so extreme in either direction and he’d still be solid at killing mid range. Right now it’s a bit too limiting
Nvm I think it’s a nerf for John who hits his shots (sometimes) it’s not like a huge huge, nerf but for us who can’t hit as many shots it’s definitely quite a big nerf

This change is so funny, cause i knew every non cass player was gonna complain abt the health, and every cass player was gonna complain abt the fall off
That's exactly what happened to me on a comment of another video. I said it was a net negative because of the fall off nerf and people were literally trying to tell me that the 25 HP buff is "massive." No it's not lmao. It wasn't a massive nerf, therefore it's not a massive buff. It was just annoying. This fall off change is legitimately a nerf.
@@Chooopyit makes him better at dealing with flanker and fliers so I think it’s fine tbh. He might not have as much range, but he never excelled from that far anyways no?
The 25 extra health is so much worse for a masssive dmg fall off like that. I hope they KEEP the 25 and bring back the reg dmg fall off.

It's so stupid because they call him "close to mid range" even though he is clearly mid to long range. His only close range is his nade, which sucks as most high mobility heroes can predict it and outrun it.
@@MelonMusk068 They still have this warped idea that Cass is a close range player because of his flashbang...which hasn't existed for a year. When he had Flash + Fan and he could run up to anyone and stun them, sure he's a close-mid hero. Except running straight into someone is a death sentence now and nobody uses fan anymore unless the tank is in your face or you want to break a Rein shield. So I genuinely don't understand how they still think he's a close range hero.
@@MelonMusk068 yeah the problem with mcreee changes is that he is suppose to be a character that DESTROYS flanking and mobility but with how they're balancing him. he is instead getting destroyed by very thing he is suppose to be good at. The nade with 30% hindered+fan the hammer finally made his entire kit more relevant as he could nade people from far away and then land 1 bodyshot into FTH. It is weird how they rework nade to make his kit work and then just nerf nade so his kit is no works and becomes weak. On top of that, they weaken his gun.
@@Chooopy I think it is because they specifically want to make mobility heroes overpowered. that's my guess and mccree is only character that check's mobility heroes. It is little bit like Bastion with shield characters. People don't want to weaken rein, so bastion has to remain weak so he is not effective at killing barriers. strangely enough, they keep buffing bastion but they're buffing wrong aspects like... not buffing duration of his turret mode transform by 1-2 seconds. oh well.
Playing Cass on Circuit and Junkertown is pure pain now.

It sucks how blizz keeps nerfing cass. I was always under the impression that cass is a character that's meant to be weak if unskilled but amazing if you put the time into learning him :( Hopefully a buff next season kicks in
I enjoy the changes to cass, it encourages the way I want to play and that’s as a big buff western man with a peacekeeper
I like the idea of making his roll return upon a kill to buff him
I thought about it and I gotta say I think it would be a good overall buff but I don't think it fixes the damage problem

I don’t really like the changes. With the amount of healing that can be output, I feel that I can’t get kills alone. They just run away or get healed to full.

I main cass but his ult is so bad you barely get kills , it all depends on the angle and right timing, it’s so hard to kill everyone using his ult . If they downgraded his ult might as well remove his whole character.

Hinder-nade is actually better against Ball generally than flash. It can’t stun him out of ult, which was a bit cheesy anyway, but it still interrupts grapple + pile drive and keeps him in place for longer at 1.2 vs flash’s 0.8 seconds

Creo que el problema no es su vida, sino lo inútiles que son sus dos habilidades. La única que es un poco útil es la granada, pero si la fallas estás muerto.

make it at least 40m max range. 35m would be okay if his max falloff was 50% instead of 30% damage
It’s crazy because that’s Ashes range the chick with a rifle not a pistol
@@SimplyChanGaming ashe has maximum falloff at 50m. 10m makes a huge difference in those longer range duels for the ashe. she also does slightly more damage per bullet. it’s the same with every other hitscan. 30-50m falloff.
for cass having it at 25-40m means he will do worse in the mid-long ranged duels which he should be. but at the moment he’s getting punished at like 33m because he’s nearly at max falloff and heroes like soldier and ashe are barely starting their falloff. i’d say 33ish metres is generally midrange and he doesn’t do too welll in that range.
IMHO, any character is broken when Wanted is behind the KB/M. That being said, between McCree and Soldier with his aim, I'd rather he play Soldier for more consistent damage and heals as a teammate.
