Is this an opportune moment to invest in stocks? What's the expected recovery timeline? I understand that many people believe equities are currently undervalued. However, there are strategies in play in this market that aren't easily accessible to the average person. Should I consider alternative investment options that may be more suitable for me?
Don't blame yourself, a lack of proficiency in bear markets can restrict your earnings. Seasoned professionals who weathered the 2008 crisis excel by employing tactics like long-short and astute portfolio management to prosper during turbulent times.
I'm not usually one to make recommendations, but there are numerous freelance wealth managers available. I've been working with *Jenny Pamogas Canaya* for approximately four years, and she has delivered solid returns. If she aligns with your preferences, you might consider her services.
How is group 4's monthly annuity going to be calculated? What's the formula? That is a required piece of information for newly hired state employees to know in order to gauge the value of this "pension" plan. After all, the calculations could be such that $500,000 invested would result in only $500 per month. Also, if the formula isn't spelled out at the time they are hired, then how do new employees know it won't change over time so they get a reduced "annuity" per month. That is a big piece you are leaving out and transparency is pivotal for newly hired state employees to understand the true value of the ERS pension plan. If it is such a great plan, then be transparent with the formula for the annuity to be received; otherwise it sounds highly suspicious.
So lets say you do 4 years of services and not vested. You still would of put 6% of monthly salary into the ERS and you will get a minimum of 4% per year... so if it was left in there for 20 years you still going to get a pension right? Just you won't unlock the health benefits?
Worked for the State of Texas for almost 18 years. Pushing for COLA for retirees!!!! If you work for the state & this is your only source of income after you retirement, please rethink this strategy. Invest in yourself first for a little more security.

Market rebounds, but can't focus on long-term due to retirement and reserves affected by inflation. Need a dependable data path and prompt solution.
