What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
ASMR videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety, stress, insomnia, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and more.

For being his second language, Deep One Dave speaks excellent English.
English would be the first language. Hes not full blooded. Hes a human mix. Wich start out as any other human baby would. They only start to change around 20 or so. The full bloods cant speak human languages. Its why in the shadow over innsmouth they are discribed as using sign language by Zadek Allen.
@@cthulhu3392 Actually, in another video, he states that R'lyehian is his native language, so either the lore's a bit wonky, or that's just how it is with Deep One Dave.

(confession) I only knew of ER from relax with the devil ,was kind of creeped out and kind of avoiding his videos lol (sorry ER) but I finally checked him out, and I'm like dam he is good!(had been missing out the entire time) plus he upload so frequently that I don't have time for other asmr artist (with all do respect)
You do Dave's voice really well. It's probably not intentional, but I like the way he speaks just a BIT slower then usual English speakers and takes small pauses. It's perfect because it's like he's actually trying to translate through his head his native language into English.
Digging Deeper #01 4 years late but it is also his second language which it seems makes the pulses easier for him to do as he likely would have done it while learning English

I can't help but think what actually is occurring is some sort of preparation ritual in which Deep One Dave is just posing as a regular barber in order to bless and clean some sacred meal or offering. He lights candles in a dimly lit room, then chants something in his own native language while clicking some wooden blocks around with strange symbols on them. All signs point to offering. Doesn't matter, I more than likely will be eaten in my sleep Thanks for the awesome video.. :)

This has somehow became my current go to asmr video for when I can't get to sleep. Typically I love your videos but they're always a tad too interesting for me to easily drift off to sleep lol. You're just a little too good at making up awesome back stories. This one however has me snoozing in just minutes every time. Thanks for the great work you put into all of these!

Every time I have insomnia or anxiety, I have to remember to go back to this video. For some reason it's the most calming thing ever and always puts me to sleep before it ends. Nothing else does it! Deep One Dave is the best.
Probably the slower speech and the sounds of the shave? Idk that’s what kills my insomnia with this video.

Power armor is very useful in fallout 4, but it has some disadvantages that you need to be mindful of in order to survive in the commonwealth. I learn something new every day!
🏊 Power armor is actually too heavy to swim in, so you must trudge along the river floor, find shallow water, or even a bridge.
🔌If you need to leave your power armor to cook some drugs, take a leak, etc. be sure to remove the fusion core; NPCs can jack your ride!
🔋Fusion cores are hard to come by. Though I haven't tested this, I've heard that you can actually take partially empty fusion cores and recharge them at power stations you grab them from, like the one in the museum of freedom basement.
⌛️Power armor prevents you from running as quickly, and sprinting drains fusion core power, so it's best for up close and personal players, or if you need to walk into a warzone.
If anybody else finds anything noteworthy, feel free to add 😀
One thing that's really interesting about power armor is that if you are a nighttime stealth player it can become hard to see your enemies in great darkness of night etc. So they have a helmet upgrade that clearly been designed to minimize or disregard regular viewing since it draws a red reticle around the enemy.
Tired of spending so much aluminum on the x01 armor? Consider saving your resources by fully upgrading a set of the lesser two armors and being smart about your playstyle. Watch as your aluminum stockpile grows and allows you to upgrade more weapons etc.

There's an edge to these costumed roleplays, that transcends the experience beyond simple relaxation(which is fine by itself), to something a little more deep. And also funny.
