    Have had Sling tv since I cut the cord years ago and enjoy it to this day at $40 a month of course after a getting rid of a few extras but even when I did have the extras I never paid more than $55 and my antenna with the air tv picks 37 channels and while not all work i am satisfied enough with the major channels it does and also that it is integrated into the Sling tv guide!!!

    You can switch back and forth between their orange and blue packages.

    Thanks Luke. I’m fortunate to live in an area were an antenna works well. I just moved to orange from blue package with the sports add on for college football. With the ability to record up to 200 hours for an additional $5 my monthly bill is $55. I think that’s pretty reasonable these days. You are spot on, the ability to DVR their FAST channels and skip through commercials is a great perk.

    Where I live even if you have your antenna at 70 foot ,since they switched to digital instead of analog you cannot get the local channels,for a hobby installing antennas,hooking up TVs,DVD and VCRs is what I have always done ,when I left the antenna I had weststar,then dish ,then directv,now I’m a cord cutter and live what Roku has to offer .and there not all the same I bought a Visio smart tv and thier live line up was a lot different than roku,s live tv line up .I have not tried sling tv but I did try friendly for $6.99 a month but it wasn’t for me .I love movies and tv shows ,my favorite genre is horror ,sci-fi,then action in that order .I may give sling a try but I don’t want to pay $70 a month just to get my local channels.good luck with your channel and have a great day.

    If you can receive local broadcast channels via an antenna (OTA), once you see the quality difference, it's hard to go back to cable/satellite/streaming for your local channels. This is particularly true for those individuals where motion artifacts drive you crazy. Much less likely to happen with OTA.

    Loving Sling Blue. It includes History Channel live and archived. I added MGM+ and Hollywood Extra for FXM, FXX and H&I. Great UI on my LG TV albeit a little buggy. Best in class so far.

    If you redo or add to this Sling info video, you might "SHOW" how to add/create favorites, and how to create different profiles, and show what that gives you, like showing you your own profiled recent shows at the top of the main screen, and different favorite lists, plus how to ff and rewind (not good now on SLING, not like TH-cam's FF pause and rewind, sadly), how to record a series. much more details on DVR and the DVR hour limit and how to add more hours for a fee; the differences between, Blue and Orange packages, how Sling works their limits on how many TVs/devices can be playing either the Orange or Blue simulateneously, and whatever that includes shows being DVRed? These and others may be on your text-based SLING tips, I hope they are. I really would like on this and other videos for you to offer slow demos of functions in the videos. Maybe also set up a second touch screen monitor in FRONT of you that you touch in the demo, but it mirrors to the one you are showing behind you, or some way to make this more transparent to the user???? I like this service you provide, but do believe many users can give you good ideas for other things/ways.

    Use Sling primarily for the Turner , AXS and WNBC. Otherwise I have FUBO which doesn't have Turner, AXS and WNBC. Instead it has WCAU 10 in Philadelphia because I am in South Jersey.

    I'm from Sri Lanka i think the internet TV connection currently I'm watching is more excellent than this it even comes with the AI technology but the main issue with the connection is the monthly price that is why this local internet TV connection is not open to the people in all societies even I have to pay a Rs 20, 000 ( 190 USD ) just for my TV per month i can't even switch the connection because I'm addicted in to it's luxurious facilities.

    What is Air TV? I only can get 6 channels on my antenna and that's not any locals. I only live 75 miles from major television markets but I'm sure it's the hills. I've try about 6 antennas and Google the best and still nothing. Too bad you can't show which antennas which are good. You need to tell people what is a Air TV. Never heard of that brand or model or are you saying it's any tv?

    • @MickF04
      @MickF04 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Air TV is a device that acts as a tuner and a DVR for any local channels you can receive from an antenna. The output from the Air TV connects to your streaming device, and the local channels you can receive will show up in Sling's menus. At a 75 mile distance, you will almost certainly need a large outdoor antenna to pick up the local channels, and maybe even then, you might be too far away.

    And now a word about how SlingTV sucks. Too many commercials/ads. I was watching a show and literally every 7 minutes they went to commercials. And they're always the SAME commercials! Worst part is, they just cut to commercial in the middle of a character's dialog. That's not right. At least wait until they finish their line. I once counted 17 commercials/ads in a row. And if you select a channel to watch and ad ad is playing so you leave that channel to check another one, then go back to that first channel, you can't watch that channel until you watch that ad. No matter how many times you switch to another channel then go back, it starts that same ad over. Also, I get buffering quite often and I have high speed internet. And the buffering only happens on Sling.

    • @thedude5040
      @thedude5040 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's the same ads as the ones on standard cable and all other cable tv like streaming services like youtube tv. No more no less. For me slingtv rarely buffers if ever

    • @JoeR203
      @JoeR203 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@thedude5040 Not really. I get ads for other shows on other channels, a local chain store for kitchen remodeling and Progressive insurance. I never see any commercials for nationally known items like soda (Coke/Pepsi), "Come visit (insert name of state here)" etc.

    • @greyeagle4388
      @greyeagle4388 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The commercial time during each show is going to be the same if you are viewing a live channel on any platform. Let's say TNT has an hour show. Typically a one hour block of programming will offer you a show that will run approx 43 minutes. The other 17 minutes are dedicated to ads both on a national and local level

    Sling ends up being more than other services by the time you add the extras you want. Plus, it streams terribly and having to purchase an antenna in 2023 is comical.
