i just wanted to ask a question, So i am a Grade 12 Pakistani student in Canada and i am very ambitious in entering medicine and becoming a surgeon, i have average 90 percent in high school, the thing is in Canada and Us we have to do a Bachlors degree(pre med degree) and u need to maintain a 3.5 plus gpa and get an excellent MCAT score to be even considered in for med schools, So is coming t Pakistan and doing MBBS really worth it and how long will it take to become an attending surgon? plz and thankyou

Idk better but ik that u can complete mbbs in 5 years in pakistan and it will take atleast 8 years to complete plus its way more expensive. In pakistan u can complete in 5 years although expensive but less than us/canada. Try applying to aga khan
Obv you should come to pakistan for a. 5 year degree then you can give exams for canada or like usmle and be a doctor there in much less expense and time

Hiii you might not read this but i really want your opinion (srry its long im super stressed and confused and scared)
I gave my matric tenth papers (sciences). The results aren’t announced yet but i am in a quandary choosing my college subjects. I had originally decided to go for computer stats and maths but im not interested in computer.. i find it boring and not my vibe. After doing some research i found out my dream job that really excites me! Its a cosmetic dermatologist. I want to know should i take pre med because im the type of student who studys last day and gets good grades and i overall dont love studying. I do like bio tho but i have no clue about the advanced one cause i studied its introduction in matric. I dont want to do mbbs because i think its not for me and its do hard like im not cutout for it and that i know. I want to do bs dermatology but that wont make me a doctor. Should i still go for it
If youve made it to the end of my rant pls give me your opinion as i am in a dilemma and have no time at all to decide. I dont have what it takes to do all that studying and med school but this is the only career that i like. Theres no going back from this. Im sorry for troubling you lol. I did matric from Beaconhouse btw
