Been using my gritt for a yr and it's my first gravel bike. I enjoyed it so much after 5mos enjoying it I completely upgrage and replace the components I used 2x 2024 grx rx822 , carbon fork Lynskey , grx wheel set, the rest Richey from their it's 101% perfect gravel bike, perfect for trails, races etc Now Im happy using it and the geometry are perfect fit and made my GB lighter
@@carlovillaricaplanning to use grx 12s. Although, it’s more expensive than the bike itself. Lol. I love this bike and I think Traction is a local brand that’s I want to keep using it. Support local. 😎
The need to always adjust the brakepad to get good braking power was one of the reasons why I ditched mechanical disc for hydro disc. Much more confident than before on the steep downhill even when braking from the hood.
@@carlovillarica for mechanical disc I previously used Sensah SRX Pro and 105, mixed with Tektro C550 dual piston. Braking performance was okay though, but having to adjust the brakepad on the go after a few steep downhill made me switched to full hydro (GRX). More confidence, less maintenance. If you choose to try semi-hydro calipers, maybe you can avoid those Chinese brands (except Juin Tech) and choose the better-performing TRP Hy Rd as recommended by some of my friends.
For mechanical brakes you also need good compressionless cables and also try checking trp hy rd calipers it has auto adjust for pad wear just like normal hydrolic systems. For full hydrolic ltwoo has 10 speed option the gr7 so you can use the stock 10 speed cassette 🙂.
I looked at the gr7. Price is very close to the grt that it seems like buyers may as well get grt. Although true it would still be cheaper bec they won't need to buy new cassette. Will test compressionless cables!
Got Juin Tech F1 dual piston for my Kespor X-challenge. You have great modulation around 80% of the way, above that (before locking) you will start to feel the tension on the cable. Understandable because of its small oil reservoir; it houses around 5mL of mineral oil only. 😂 Also prone to "lazy" pistons (as Calvin of Park tool calls it), but can be adjusted and be "exercised". Great for its price, nevertheless.
Try the Microshift Sword; I know it's already available here in the Philippines. Or, wait for the Shimano CUES STIs that are coming out, probably in the near future (CUBE probably being one of the first to have it). As for brakes, JUIN Tech is a really good choice, although I have IIIPROs and it works just fine.
They most likely would, especially since they already have a 4-piston caliper. I'm curious to see how their STIs would perform for gravel race bikes, given the shifting behavior of the link glide system. I'm even more curious on how they will manage to keep the price down, since CUES is supposed to replace their Claris, Sora, and Tiagra lineup. In early 2025, we'll see.
I think you should try the LTWOO GRT Carlo. One, it matches the price point of the bike and is an interesting way to test alternatives. I think Trace Velo did a video on it before.
still nothing can break the breaking power of hydraulic breaks, with that said, you can actually enhance the breaking power of mechanical ( or cable actuated ) disc breaks by simply having metallic compound break pads. Traction Grrit looks good man, comparable to your surly? haha

Sounds like a sweeeet bike! One of the future build plans is to pimp out a Grrit as well. We'll see if we do it
Traction grrrt user. Upgraded the tires right away to gravel king SS 43c. Really improved a lot. Planning to upgrade to 12s soon. 😊
Nice! What GS you planning to get?

@@elmerreyes8985 haha nice! Yup I agree. The bike is very surprising considering how much it costs

traction roloo V1 owner here. I upgraded it and have not looked back. I can take it almost anywhere!
Yup! Traction make good frames
Thanks for the review
No problem 👍

I'll probably make a comparison video haha it's a very different bike
Sana magkaroon sila ng badge or emblem
That's a good idea!
TRP HY RD also
Ya this is a possibility also
