I liked Dark Web better than the other Unfriended movie and it´s supernatural BS ending. Enjoyed both flicks, of course, but I´m more into real life situations horror, like for example "The Last House on the Left" like, and Dark Web got me more into it´s plot…. the other one was entertaining BUT I just don´t believe in supernatural crap, so I didn´t buy the vengeful Ghost thing at the end, of course we get the message, that the main character had it coming for her cause of being a scumbag, but I didn´t feel the movie as much as I did with Dark Web whose ending was even more disturbing.

Making the audience the Charons, which would kind of make sense. After all, we entered the cinema knowing that some characters would die, we wanted to see characters suffer for our own amusement.

"Dark Web" movies nowadays are much like those hacker movies from 90s. Remember when hackers where omnipresent, omnipotent Gods in 90s movies? Oh yeah, so were the sharks in 70s.
they should've all ran to the police station as soon as they got threats, even THEN, who in world would stick around and just watch their friends get killed without thinking that they're targets whether they stay or not? And after watching one person get attacked from behind they all just keep looking at the screen instead of behind themselves. Also, who stands THAT close to a train? And one of the guys straight-up killed a woman in public, ON CAMERA, he can bet his ass the subway's guards are gonna be all over him before he even leaves.

I don’t think people appreciate the unpredictability of this movie. Lots of twists and intense enough for keeping you from figuring it out. I liked Unfriended 1 and this one but I know I’m a minority. I like the style and approach to these movies.

I disagree. Because twists are what make a movie exciting. Nowadays it's so easy to predict what will happen that watching movies became boring. People actually appreciate these twists. Give a real sense of excitement

There were SO many mistakes in this movie. At least they admitted it was a setup in the end, so they saved themselves a little. (The guy has a laptop with all of this top secret stuff on it and he just forgets it at a cafe and his password is just a question mark. Plus, nothing else on the computer is password protected. Yeah, sure. Totally believable.) I don't make TH-cam videos, but I want to make one just listing all of the mistakes. Like how he checks the Norah C. message while he's still logged into his own account. Whoops! Or how he has a video chat open with his girlfriend, so she can see his webcam, and he's watching his friends get killed so he's freaking out. I know the GF can't hear, but she doesn't think it's weird that he's crying and screaming? She never asks if he's alright? Oh...My favorite part was when he would refuse to type to her so he made her read his lips, but then his mouth wouldn't be in the frame and somehow she was able to read them anyway. That's impressive.

This was actually a very good movie, it was one of the first movies in a long time that I actually gasped at. Oh and that Trephination, that is some Jeffrey Dahmer shit right there.
This is so dumb lol. If someone was legit running ops on the Dark Web, they would have encrypted the computer, probably used a Hidden OS (like Tails encrypted and the installation hidden inside of say... windows) and/or Used a bootable OS on a seperate flash drive. Furthermore, they would know all the passwords to their computer and would probably just go in and either wipe the computer or have already put in place a program that would either just wipe the computer remotely or (if they were really techy) fry the computer by suddenly causing the CPU to overclock well beyond its capabilities to cause physical damage.
I got the ending where Matias gets buried alive and his deaf girlfriend is unharmed, personally I liked that ending better since at least one of these characters got to live by the end of the movie.
The whole thing about the dark web being so dangerous is mainly misconception is some way or the other, i recommend watching Some Ordinary Gamers' Dark web browsing to get a better idea,its more memes and edgy art projects with a side of illegal products like drugs and guns than the myth everyone shows it to be :) Awesome video btw FoundFlix,i have been binge watching all of your videos the last couple of days :D

There's also two more ending that you missed. 3rd ending (They Earned It): One is where Matias meets with Amaya at the spot where thy first kissed but are caught by two Charon's. A vote is held up to decide whether they should live or die and it at first looks like they are gonna die until one of the hackers shows a video in when Matias drains the money from Charon IV's bank account into his own and demands Erica Dunne to be returned back safely. This sways the voters to letting them both live as it appears to impress them for what he did. 4th ending: Shows Matias looking for Amaya at the warehouse only to find a gun on the ground next to the camera. A vote is started asking people if Matias will kill himself. However it ends before the it is shown whether or not he committed suicide or not. 0:40 CORRECTION: The term "Dark Web" refers to information and sites that aren't "cataloged" by search engines, so you can still reach these sites if you know the hyper links. The Dark Net is what you're refering to, where you require special software and credentials in order to reach those networks and sites (TOR is a common way of reaching the Dark Net)
I was extremely shaken after this. I was so disturbed and literally shaking. I got the ending where Matias was buried alive and I seriously had a panic attack in the theater. But it was a pretty good film I suppose
There's actually two more extra endings you missed, not the greatest nor is it important. On the DVD ending (called 'They_Earned_It.m4v'), Matias and Amaya actually get to meet up at the place where they first kissed. They then get restrained by two Charon's that come out of nowhere and The Circle holds a vote whether they get to live. The majority votes 'no' but a video played by a Charon shows a clip of Matias earlier in the film where he extorts the bitcoin from Charon IV in exchange for Erica's freedom. This later convinces the majority to vote 'yes', thus leaving Matias and Amaya to live. Though Erica still shows up at Matias' apartment and screams for help at the computer at the end. On an alternate DVD ending, Matias finds the warehouse where the Charons took Amaya. She is nowhere to be found, but as Matias looks around the place, he finds a revolver and starts to contemplate on suicide. A Charon then pulls a poll whether Matias will kill himself or not. The film ends before Matias makes the decision.

I don’t think people appreciate the unpredictability of this movie. Lots of twists and intense enough for keeping you from figuring it out. I liked Unfriended 1 and this one but I know I’m a minority. I like the style and approach to these movies.

There were SO many mistakes in this movie. At least they admitted it was a setup in the end, so they saved themselves a little. (The guy has a laptop with all of this top secret stuff on it and he just forgets it at a cafe and his password is just a question mark. Plus, nothing else on the computer is password protected. Yeah, sure. Totally believable.) I don't make TH-cam videos, but I want to make one just listing all of the mistakes. Like how he checks the Norah C. message while he's still logged into his own account. Whoops! Or how he has a video chat open with his girlfriend, so she can see his webcam, and he's watching his friends get killed so he's freaking out. I know the GF can't hear, but she doesn't think it's weird that he's crying and screaming? She never asks if he's alright? Oh...My favorite part was when he would refuse to type to her so he made her read his lips, but then his mouth wouldn't be in the frame and somehow she was able to read them anyway. That's impressive.

If someone was legit running ops on the Dark Web, they would have encrypted the computer, probably used a Hidden OS (like Tails encrypted and the installation hidden inside of say... windows) and/or Used a bootable OS on a seperate flash drive. Furthermore, they would know all the passwords to their computer and would probably just go in and either wipe the computer or have already put in place a program that would either just wipe the computer remotely or (if they were really techy) fry the computer by suddenly causing the CPU to overclock well beyond its capabilities to cause physical damage.

There's also two more ending that you missed.
3rd ending (They Earned It): One is where Matias meets with Amaya at the spot where thy first kissed but are caught by two Charon's. A vote is held up to decide whether they should live or die and it at first looks like they are gonna die until one of the hackers shows a video in when Matias drains the money from Charon IV's bank account into his own and demands Erica Dunne to be returned back safely. This sways the voters to letting them both live as it appears to impress them for what he did.
4th ending: Shows Matias looking for Amaya at the warehouse only to find a gun on the ground next to the camera. A vote is started asking people if Matias will kill himself. However it ends before the it is shown whether or not he committed suicide or not.

There's actually two more extra endings you missed, not the greatest nor is it important.
On the DVD ending (called 'They_Earned_It.m4v'), Matias and Amaya actually get to meet up at the place where they first kissed. They then get restrained by two Charon's that come out of nowhere and The Circle holds a vote whether they get to live. The majority votes 'no' but a video played by a Charon shows a clip of Matias earlier in the film where he extorts the bitcoin from Charon IV in exchange for Erica's freedom. This later convinces the majority to vote 'yes', thus leaving Matias and Amaya to live. Though Erica still shows up at Matias' apartment and screams for help at the computer at the end.
On an alternate DVD ending, Matias finds the warehouse where the Charons took Amaya. She is nowhere to be found, but as Matias looks around the place, he finds a revolver and starts to contemplate on suicide. A Charon then pulls a poll whether Matias will kill himself or not. The film ends before Matias makes the decision.
