Hey what's up Noti Squad?! Welcome to December! For planning purposes, we're posting a video every single day from now until the end of the year. 🏆 Should be one crazy ride so hang on! 😜🤘
magnificent video
when a conductor passes through a magnetic field in induces a current in the conductor
and when a current flows through a conductor in induces a magnetic field
You're gonna be busy this whole month. Haha
The King of Random i found out that a candle emitted a electromagnetic wave. with a photovoltaic candle holder you can get electricity too 🤗
please make a video of modified dynamo of tamiya (a toy race car from let's go anime) .. change the the magnet and copper wires of the dynamo to a strong magnet and slightly thick (i don't know if the western country have number for copper wires but colleague said the number you need to use is number 22) and the result will be amazing blazing speed of tamiya .. btw im from the philippines .. im very sorry for my grammar .. love you lots from the philippines ,, power to you guys
I still miss Grant but mad respect to this guy for keeping up despite the negative comments.
Lord Fizzlebeef what happened to grant?
He had a break and went on holiday
+sam neale how long is his holiday ffs
agreed, I also liked how grant used to explain how things worked, now we just geta hilarious close up of nates face as he says "MAGNETS"
Th only reason he keeps going is because he doesn't look at the comments grant does that stuff
Nate... Respect..... Even the negative comments you're still going....... Respect Bro
Autological Gaming he’s great everyone else is just afraid of change and like stuff to stay the same FOREVER
I was waiting for this type of video!!!!
Job well done Nate! :)
“Hit it lightly with a hammer”, *BANG BANG BANG BANG*
I was thinking that
Great job Nate. Bring out more projects. This is a great lesson and inspirations for our sedenatry children and today's TV Cartoon headed kids.
Great video on the force of electromagnetism
k
Younge ey George a matinee
Dude Nate is as good as grant
(But still can't beat the legend)
It's nice how he is still motivated even after all the we want grant back comments
Vansh Kasturi Don't search *Granny norma*
I warned you..
Vansh Kasturi don't search granny norma
Dragon Claw but why
BrianHPlayz plz explain
Why?
I’m glad I found this channel
Welcome to the channel
You only just found it
It was better a little while ago.SMFH what happened
“And lightly tap the nail, I need to be careful” *Starts hitting nail like he’s framing a house*
Could you guys try marking a roller coaster with the copper coil. Like if you agree
@Crafty you're allowed now
Do it!
You should take the last project and make it super long. Like a giant magnet train track
And make it a loop
Young stimpy or just made a circle for infinity turn
Young stimpy using that method he should be able to generate electric current to power something else amazing idea.
+Score Moore Erhm....no.
You *_use_* energy (from the battery) to create the magnetic field that causes the movement.
You can't get surplus energy from that.
MGC # it technically wont go forever though so ye. Maybe the kinda infinite circle?
Make a large copper coil train!
Timo van Drecht make one that forms a loop
john Hauswirth that's the point
What you think is hyperloop project?
Timo van Drecht i wonder if you can create an Faraday charger connected to a super compacitor as the magnets ride through the coil in a circle?
Theemoow ###
New experiment, what happens if you hit the battery with the nail and hammer?
You end up with a dead battery
And a bunch of dangerous chemicals
TheScientistLRS Well... Depends on the type of battery... A lithium battery may start burning while a carbon-zinc-battery wouldn't be really dangerous.
one word, *"KABOOOOMMMM!"*
PNoYxFlames kipkay made a vid on what's inside them
2:22 ... Did Nate just morph into Hank Green for a second?! "MAGNETS!"
lol I can't unsee it now, Nate is officially the third Green brother!
You made this so upbeat and fun and I learned a lot too. Cool and thought provoking AF, cheers.
i like nate so much he just doubles the fun.
btw great and interesting video
I Love Nate! 😄❤️❤️
How could anyone not like this video? magnets are so fun
This is why I've been subscribed for a year and a half
Cool simple and "Random" stuff
This video was magnificent
Don't you mean *MAGNET*ficent
Make a train of copper coil around the whole room to make a mini battery train
and loop it so dth it goes on and on and on
itll get very hot.
I agree
that's a lot of copper, it will be expensive
Okay
Nate I love watching you of coarse I miss Grant but I love watching you as well!
Nate: "I need to be careful not to stab the battery"
Also Nate: *Smashing battery with a nail and a hammer*
Nate, make the copper coil a lot longer, put the "train" inside and join the ends of the coil together. The train will run in a circle in an endless loop!
DO IT PLZ!
Those are some really cool tricks
No these are real
Cod box
Please make a circle "track" with a copper coil so the magnet "train" can run through the copper coil endlessly.
Chbv till The battery dies
Yeah I actually wanted to ask them
Quote of the year Nate from The King Of Random “MAGNETS!”
I love this channel
I know what my nephew's are getting for Christmas. 🎄🎁🎅
Don't get them magnets..
who buys their nephew a magnet for christmas
aha yes! Great choice👍🏽 might do the same for my brother.
your actually gonna be the worst uncle
Tim Michaels you would be a great uncle
The copper coil is too short. Make one at least 4' long, and connect the ends, so the battery-train goes around in endless circles!
Double Dare Fan i was thinking of this
I love how entertaining you explain science to us, you guys are amazing
Thank you for sharing this cool experiments. 🙏🙏
BEST TH-camRS EVER
Can I have a free piece of MERCH ❤️ please
This video really *_attracted_* me because I love magnets
My fav king of random vid is proto putty
You should check out the one on making HHO gas from water. Even the mythbusters used that as a starting design in one of their vids.
mike mclaughlin hmm OK then
red hot nickle ball did it first!
Andre that was the first video I ever saw from them
That is my favorite video EVE by you guys. Probably my favorite on youtube!!!!! Please make sequel to this video.
I love playing with magnets and am very interested in electro magnetism and motors...watching this stuff never ceases to amaze me...very cool stuff
Wow Nate great.I really appreciate your hard work
Try looping the coil for making the battery train run infinitely. ( Well until the battery dies)
Thanks Nate I learn a lot
Really Cool ! I would certainly make it for my children if I had children...
Nice i enjoy that!😀😃
Nate, you look pretty *attractive* in this video.
BADUM TSS
Hassan DM I feel like dying
I see watt u did there
*P*
*U*
Love magnets!
Andre me to
Awesome video Nate
Thanks for returning to your roots
KOR makes a railgun would be an OP video
Nice video
Nate s intense look 2:21
You should still put grant in videos even though Nate’s not bad
I was chilling out watching this then Nate said "That's crazy. MAGNETS!" and it scared me. Omg
This video just became 1-year old today! Happy birthday!!!!
Nice 😍
I think it would prove to be a pretty fun video to see if you can put together a DIY Magnetic Particle Inspection kit, since you already have batteries and magnets laying around. Something ferrous from the home forge should have plenty of bubbles and cracks to detect after you sand or grind the outside somewhat smooth.
Run electric trains vertically
a-lpha of Zeldaforme Gaming he should make it go round and round
Nate, if you make a longer coil of copper wire and place the battery inside, but keep hold of it for a moment while you connect both ends of the coil together to form a circular tube. When you let go of the battery it should keep going round and round the tube on a continuous loop. Sorr I'm not great at explaining things, so I hope that makes sence lol. Hope you get to try it someday as it really is a cool little trick. All the best and keep up the great work all, Diane x
Cool. I liked the battery with magnets on both sides travelling through a coil. Also how it slows down in a tube.
Make a loop of the copper wire so that it would make an endless magnet train!
Elevator should be like that so if it free-fall due to accident, it will fall slowly
Where's Nate?
Oh, there he is.... good.
Wow that’s crazy, MAGNETS!
This was a great video. One of your best ever Nate.
"Cut one cm outside the battery" The metric system is slowly taking over, one slip of the tongue at the time. Yay!
andvil01 I don’t think it was a slip of the tongue did you think he meant inch cause if so those batteries must be 5 inches long to have that be an inch past the end
I don’t think it was a slip up it was just the smallest measurement
When I did the thing with the heart and spinning wire that was my science fair project for fourth grade😂
king of random 💪 could u please show a way to use the motors effectively?😞💪💜
Captain Modz why the emojis
This episode was awesome!!! I'm gonna try them all!!
This is the coolest idea
What would happen if you used the electromagnet train idea in a solid copper pipe?
Alex Green same thing with the aluminum foil. Since copper and aluminum are noj ferrous metal they are non magnetic, but since they still are metal it creates an electrci field which slows it's decent
It wouldn't work at all, because the electricity would flow parallel to the battery and you want it to be orthogonal towards the battery. Additionally, the force is proportional to the ammount of convolutions(Force = Magnetic flux density * electric current * length of wire in the magnetic field)
It would just act the same as the aluminum foil
However, you can probably use more windings in the coil to get a different outcome
What would happen if you place the motor you first showed us into water, would it still turn and if so if you place it at an angle on some kind of a small floating structure could you use it as a form of a turbine that pushes the floating object?
High speed low torque
But yet you don't know water conducts electricity
I think it would only float north.
@@mrpanda2655 no, pure water does not conduct electricity. But, it is hard to find pure water. Most water, including tap water, contains salts and minerals that do allow electricity to flow. Never the less, the statement, "water conducts electricity" is false.
I made a magnet toaster. HELP ME!
Edit 1: Never mind, fixed it.
Edit 2: Aaannnd... now it's a spinning toaster.
learning like this is so much fun 😍😍
Cool... I found these to through some fun experiments.
Grant is doing another project. He is always busy on projects. in the future probably he is going to explain why Nate is making videos.
ilazacharey22 he has already explained...
ilazacharey22 I hope so..
FullMetal when? What did he say? Just wondering :)
So now I know what to do if I ever need to drain a battery.
Busters 72 the battery won't be drained though
There's nothing using up the electrons inside
Bready Wrong. The power is flowing from the battery though the magnets into the copper wire and around to the other end. You can not create an electromagnet without power flowing though it. It has to come from somewhere and in this case, it's coming from the battery. This is why in the first one he showed that the wire must touch the bottom magnets to spin. If they didn't need to touch the bottom to complete the circuit, all you would need to do is make an M shape in the wire. Go try it yourself and let it run. Over time the battery will start to get hot and discharge.
Bready, the copper wire is completing the circuit from the positive to the negative side (or vise versa). If this did not drain the battery, we would be world famous for making the first perpetual motion machine.
The first experiment how to keep adults amused lmao
I want to do these! They look like so much fun, and so doable!
I do not no a word you are saying..... You are so smart
Can you make massive versions of these projects!
Make the last motor tube longer, put the battery with magnets inside, connect two ends of wire together into a circle, and you'll get motor that goes in circles and never stops😀
Ion Chiloch until the battery runs out
Silverlit Studios no
The battery's electrons aren't actually being used since there's nothing dissipating them
Silverlit Studios yep
Bready I think the battery does nothing, and the movement is caused not because of electricity in battery but because of magnets. I think you can put any other metal that is magnetic instead of battery
Ion Chiloch I see what you're talking about
I'm thinking maybe it's the iron in the battery's steel shell
If I get a small rod of steel and try it maybe the effect would be amplified
What if you make a longer tunnel and connect the two ends together? Will it keep on going?
Kyattapollo till the battery dies yes
Yes
That's great stuff you're working on that demonstrates science!
There is a reason why I am subbed and like every video 👍🏼 keep it up King Of Random
How long would the last one last if you put the coil in a loop
Kenneth Zadderey untill the battery dies
Nate: we are going to need a little more wire
Also Nate:I have 20 feet of wire
That's how particle accelerators work
real particle accellerators exist. it spins atoms in a circle and smashes them together
OH , WOW THIS IS FUN ,,,I LOVE THIS ..THANK YOU
The first experiment with the foil and magnets also works with copper tubing. if you get a big copper tube and a very strong magnet, you get the same properties and if im correct, it moves slower. its really cool.
The King Of Random Can you make an infinity loop of the train and try to power a small light?
"YEAH B***H, MAGNETS!!"
-Jessie Pinkman
break the stuff badly
He actually looks like Jessie 😂
9:43
Edit: sort of
COPPA
Sir,can you pls share the link to the magnets you are using..
no
they are nudanium magnets
@@xyz_2061 neodymium*
Pretty cool demo, TKOR. I hadn't seen the aluminum foil roll trick before. One small criticism at 4:55 - that's not inertia causing the counter-rotation of the battery and magnet. That's the equal-and-opposite force there. The electric and magnetic fields' interaction causes a torque on the wire (source of the electric field), which means there's an opposite torque on the source of the magnetic field.
I noticed that Nat always introduces himself as "Nat with the King Of Random", which is fine, but I think he has earned his place to possibly be the Prince of Random or maybe even the Duke of Random :D Just a few suggestions that could be worked off! Thanks for the awesome videos guys!!!

One question
*Are farts really flamable?*
Dew Mac yes they are and don’t ask
Yes as the amount of concentration of hydrogen(flammable) and methane(flammable) is more than that of CO2
💨🔥 💥 yes yes they are
oh frik yes they are i thought that farts are composed of only oxygen and carbon dioxide, I didnt know that farts have methane. and farts have a CRAPTON of molecules of hydrogen. well. lesson learned. FARTS ARE FLAMMABLE XD
Matters on the persons diet
Where to get the right magnets?
I did this for science fair project and it worked great
Omg you are so awesome! I love how excited u get! I love magnets too!
Make a mini Railgun
Joshua Wolfgram thats actually basically what that last one is. Well, with a rail gun its reversed, the projectile is the conductor, and the rails are electromagnets
Revampedharpy09 I didn’t like how he didn’t mention eddy currents
