What an amazing intro on an amazing guitar. Definitely a guitar to aspire to. It looks and sounds amazing. One little thing, I would have thought that a guitar of that standard would have an LR Baggs system. The natural tone came across to me a little better. I think it would be a better fit. But each to their own 😃👍👍 Wonderful video Jon thanks 😃👍❤️
Hey! …this pickup is not body sensors. It is simply the Fishman Matrix undersaddle pickup relabeled for Martin. Always a fan of your playing @JonIsJustTooLoud!
It is still a Fishman.. and yes my bad.. it’s not really sensors and a undersaddle pickup. Thanks for sharing!! “Fishman Gold Plus Natural I system. Composed of unique co-polymer sensing material, the Gold Plus Natural I system provides incredible sensitivity and dynamic range. Along with sensing the vibration of the strings, this system also picks up the instruments top, culminating in a sound that’s incredibly accurate, well-balanced, and evenly voiced head to toe” From Martin
@@JonIsJustTooLoudyep truly a Fishman (rebranded for Martin). Despite the inherent fidelity limitations of undersaddle pickups, Martin made the best choice for their guitars many years ago to adopt the Fishman Matrix (since their Dave Matthew’s DM3MD I believe) as I can tell with person experience and your tone, it suits Martin’s voicing pretty well. I use an IR through the Gold Plus on my OMJM. Love your stuff always. P.S. you are on record on your feelings on Fishman in your past videos haha
@JonIsJustTooLoud you said in the video they come with 13 gauge strings but when I try to find info on it online it says 12 hmm....thoughts? I tried looking on Martin's website but couldn't find information. Where did you find the info that said 13? (Not that I don't believe you lol)
@@paulandreas7955 of course you may ask.. I’m more concerned about playing the song than just looking good. If this wasn’t TH-cam, you will probably do not not know about my pinky.
@@JonIsJustTooLoud oh no, you took it the wrong way! To me using the pinky doesn’t make you look good, but I dont use it myself cause I never learned to. So I Wanted to know if you had problems with it or if it was just for convenience! You play really good anyway!
@@paulandreas7955 no no.. do not worried.. I’m not in the least offended. I’ve been asked the question countless times. Some nicely, some not so.. the reason I answered your question is because you asked nicely. I’m essentially an electric guitar player.. I often do runs and bend right after. So it’s a habit of choice.✌🏻
Yep, that’s definitely a Martin! Once you own a Martin guitar everything changes. Beautiful playing Jon, but as always my heart goes with the Martin ❤

Thank you Tom✌🏻
A beautiful $6,000 guitar that sounds as good as a $6,000 guitar should.
Yes
It sounds different than 28 or 18 but not worse, different… It’s a very cool sound… I like each Martin models sound signature… Nice playing and song.
Thank you ✌🏻❤️
OMG😮 it's an OMJM.

I'm new to your channel so apologies if you have answered this before but do you actually have a favourite or goto guitar?
Yes I do.. electric or acoustic?
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Electric. But only because I know nothing about acoustic guitars 😂
@@JonIsJustTooLoud How about both, Jon?
Omg, beautiful guitar! it rings like a bell! but with the price of my new car down payment😖
✌🏻🤣✌🏻
Jon, may i ask, why don't you ever use the pinky?

@@JonIsJustTooLoud got it! Love you videos either way. Take care!
Hmm but engelmann spruce is softer and tends to dent a little more so than sitka. Got to baby it more so and probably not going gigging with it
I think every expensive guitar should not be used for gigs and traveling then.. hahaha
nice présentation. but the body shape is not dreadnought. it's a concert size body.
Yes you are right
