the resonators hold back most of the sound you are looking for. I got my muffler replaced with 2 cherry glasspacks and it sounded good but not good enough, so i got rid of my resonators and damn it sounds good
I just got a 05 magnum RT, and I also have an 06 Charger RT. My Charger has flowmasters in the middle and nothing on the back and sounds amazing. Like, when I start it up in a parking lot, people turn and look. Good sound but not obnoxious or droning. When I bought the Magnum it had a borla cat back. It sounds good at full throttle but in my opinion, a car should sound good like when you idle through a parking lot. The borla system has mid mufflers and also rear mufflers. I want to remove one pair but trying to decide which. The mids look more like a traditional muffler while the rear are smaller and straight through. I think I will ditch the rears and see how it sounds. I liked how yours sounded with the mids in place and that’s it.
13:00 LOL! I know you did a lot of work, but this happens to so many people. Tuning, flow, sound is such a science & art, very subjective! Driving along side a guys with an awesome sounding 2013 300C, I had to ask him, what did you do?! His reply... nothing but straight pipes from the CATS back, stock headers. It sounded awesome. I could not believe it. I also read the 2005-2008 exhausts were designed and tuned by a German company starting with a "S" to make the V8 sound like a V8, even with MDS (4 cylinders). So, it's a tough call, cutting out all the OEM exhaust work if you plan to retain MDS.
I just saw your video on the magnum and wanted to know if you ever got around to installing those jba headers and if you would please make a video of the installation? Thanks and keep up those videos coming.
Hey, I've got a 2008 RT and I've been wanting to get some front bumper cover like you have. Could you please tell me where you got that one? For some reason, there seems to be fewer options for the 08 than 5-7.
Yeah, I just needed a comments. I was gonna say takeoff your resonators and you’ll get the proper sound that you’re looking for. I’ve had two RT’s and one SRT trust me get rid of the resonator lol
Nice work. Honestly I’m not a fan of magnaflow exhaust. I think there way overpriced and overrated.. I just bought an 06 RT Same color been sitting for 5 or 6 years and it has long tube headers no cats and stock mufflers and resonators and it sounds throatier than yours. I might even leave it that way or I can get dyno max super turbos for 42.00 each from rock auto. But if you delete te resonators it will sound better. Just my 2 cents
What is it with these super-long commercials I have to endure to watch some videos like this one? I can barely tolerate having to hold the remote in my hand all the time while watching youtube, but youtube is going to abuse me to the point where I finally just leave their biased platform altogether. I keep hoping and praying there will be an "X-like" competitor that will below them away.

Ive got an 05 rt and removed the suitcase and the resonators and it sounds better than a srt8 and passes emissions

They're still not on yet but definitely on the list my truck is at the top though right now

That's the factory bumper. I cut the cross out of it and put in an eBay grill

Get rid of the resonators and it'll sound good. I have black widow mufflers and no resonators. It sounds really good that way.
