Hey i have a questions. First can i use niacinamide and hylarunic day and night. Second i have a moisturizer (cerave lotion) that has hylarunic acid is it bad to pair with hylarunic acid serum as well?? Will it over hydrate?
I am not sure if there is such a thing as overhydrate. But in this case, it may be beneficial since it uses another form of Hyaluronic Acid. It may work great in combination with The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid. And yes you can use Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide at night. Use Hyaluronic Acid first.
Hi, Melissa thank you so much for the informative sharing however I'm really curious does Deciem show the printed manufacturing date on the box ? In this video, I couldn't see the manufacturing date. I bought mine with Korean packaging and the manufacturing date shown on the bottom side of the box either it's above or below the barcode. So what I'm curious is does the French packaging didn't print the manufacturing date on its box ?
This isn't required here, or they changed it recently.
I have seen those packages already. But the only one that has an expiry date is the Niacinamide Powder. Maybe they will update it soon; I am not sure about this sorry.

I'm wondering as I can see that mine (Korean packaging) has its manufacturing date but as shown in your video I couldn't see one. So is there a possibility that manufacturing date may not be stamped if it's different packaging ?
My one has code on the side of the bottle and it printed blue and the batch code say it's from 2022-7 is it fake?

Hi Melissa ,I can use the lactic every day in PM, also i use it with Hyloronic Acide ?? Because u told me i use it only 3 TIMES on a week ??? WHY I CANT?? if i didnt use it it other days can I use hyloronic acid with nicinamide in PM ?? IT OK IF I USE IT EVERY DAY OR NOT I DONT FEEL COMFORTABLE IF I DIDNT USE IT EVERY DAY ?? I told you to use it only a few times a week to safe you from irritating your skin ;) Some people overdo it in the beginning, and they end up with skin irritation. But of course, if you feel comfortable, you can use it more often. Just make sure not to overdo it! :)

Great videos as usual! Quick question please; what is the color of magnesium ascorbyl phosphate 10 the ordinary? I opened mine a month ago and decided to pause first and kept it inside refrigerator in separated box. I don’t remember the color I saw that time, now it’s not milky white but has very very light orange-ish shade. Is it normal or showing sign of oxidation? Thank you for your answer! 🌹❤️

The colour of Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% is white. Suppose it changes the colour to yellow when it oxidizes. I haven't figured out if that makes it ineffective. La Roche Posay says that when their Vitamin C serums turn orange, it doesn't make it less effective. So I am not sure if you still can use it or not since I haven't found any reliable information.

A: Hi,
CAIL 1% and our sun protection products will have an expiry date written on the product. For all other items, the shelf life of our products is three years when unopened and stored at room temperature. This is the regulatory threshold for testing. Upon opening, please refer to the period-after-opening (PAO) symbol to identify the lifetime of the product.
Q: So the change from milky white to a little yellowish color won’t affect anything?
A: That is correct! As long as the product is within the PAO and stored in a cool dry area there should be no concern with product integrity. ❤️
Is there supposed to be a safety seal on the bottle? Mine did not come with a safety seal.
No, the Ordinary bottles don't have a safety seal, only the ones in a tube like moisturizer and suspensions.
when i looked up the scan code it says that my bottle is from June 2019, but the batch code is at the bottom (under) the bottle. Is it fake?

Im late but what does the authentic one smells like..mine smells a little bit of coffeeish(hyaluronic acid)
And the (niacinamide) smells like glue, im assuming mine r fake but not really sure yet
This is so difficult since we all have a different smell. That's why some people think it may be fake. Generally speaking, if there isn't anything else that looks very suspicious it's probably not fake ;)

Estée Lauder owns The Ordinary so I doubt that EL would be manufacturing and distributing any faux products. Bottom line; always purchase from a reputable seller/ distributor like Sephora/ Ultra etc.

Some people think that they have fake products, when in fact they just have older bottles at home. So this is to help those people to identify if they have the same version at home.

Hey, you should use those products at least 4-8weeks to see any changes. The results that you see on Social Media (Instagram, Tiktok, etc.) are mostly fake.
I am not too fond of Buffet, since it broke me out. That's the only product from the ordinary that I do not like. I assume that you watched the How-to tutorial and not the Review 🤔( th-cam.com/video/MolMMcCLrgA/w-d-xo.html)
Anyway, this does not mean that the product will not work for you.
Regarding the dryness, this depends on your skin type if you have a dry skin type you need to use a moisturizer after Hyaluronic Acid and Buffet or generally speaking you should use a moisturizer all the time after your serums.
What are your skin concerns, and for what reason are you using those products?

I have been using projecte beauty hylauronic acid serum for an year religiously which gave me good results
Now even that doesn't seems to work
I can't even find out what's wrong since I apply the same process which I used to do earlier.
Those lines which disappeared are coming again

@@payal8412 Wow, that's a long time. What about changing your routine entirely and adjust it based on your skin needs? I mean our skin is changing over the years; therefore, it's best to adjust it.
Also, you can give it a break and do not use anything at all for a while.
That's what I am currently doing, but I am 10 years younger. But it helps me a lot 😀

Well, I do not have very dry skin, so I cannot do that video, since I had to guess if it would work or not.
In this case, it may be best to look for reviews or another TH-camr that has dry skin to see what he/she recommends, or better what works for her skin.
Generally speaking, I can recommend drugstore moisturizers from Cetaphil and Vanicream. 😀

Mine has a very strong smell and it's not slimy or sticky, it's like water, and is it fake? Does it have a smell??
I think this is a storage issue because the temperatures have been too high. I'm not sure if it is still good or if that also affects its efficacy.

I have seen that bottle already, there is no statement on the Ordinary website about this. So, therefore, I assume that this is fake. Or they may have different versions for China. Will see how this plays out in the coming weeks!

How about the texture?! So no one is fake??
I believe that 99% of the products being sold as counterfeit are actually either old stock or items with minor flaws from the manufacturing process. However, there's no definitive way to distinguish between them. Essentially, you'd have to take every product to a lab each time you purchase from a reseller...

hmm, well technically it is a sugar. But you can't smell it. But maybe you have a very good smell :)

Yes, the Ordinary Retinols do have a smell, but I think that's just the 'smell' of the product but has nothing to do with added fragrance! :)

@@melissjakouir6708 This may be too much. Generally speaking, you should gradually incorporate one new product into your regimen at a time and apply test patches first to see what works best for your skin.
How often you should exfoliate depends on your skin type and skin concerns. Some people do well exfoliating with AHA or BHA twice a day, whereas others find that once a day or every other day is a perfect balance. Test to see what works best for your skin.
