You guys when you have to use "to compliment" you use "to complement" instead, and vice versa. Same here. Complimentary and Complementary are 2 different words with different meanings.
As a foreigner, I've seen university graduatees in the US make the same spelling mistake.
I get it that pronunciation is tough so spellings get tough as well in English, but it's also your own language and the only one most anglophones speak.
If foreigners can spell better than natives there's a big problem in education.

@@solinvictus1234 the point was more that claiming that anglo-saxon in a race between an Italian and a French is a little bit out of place. And the joke was referring to Spithill, but well aware LR is a fully Italian team. Didn't know Spithill nationalised though (AFAIK he lives still in San Diego). The work commentators is far from what we experienced in the "lightning" race with TNZ (that I agree was very biased, but this one not)

As an italian I have to say: honestly I don't see why everybody says commentators are blatantly biased... they're maybe less hyped if compared to others regata with TNZ ....but no exagerations .... plus, guys the real matches are yet to come, this round robin just tells that luna rossa is one of the top challengers, toghether with american magic (don't forget they've lost against luna rossa due to one wrong maneuvre) and ineos uk.....I don't trust TNZ performances ....they will definetely have some extra ace up their sleeves
